Geez Lisa you're up late! Yep, looking forward to seeing this kid even more now. If he has a good first game I expect some Crows fans will forgive their club for selecting him over young Ebert.

Re:Dangerfield named Reply to this message
The word out of the Crows is Patrick is close to playing. His weekend game for the Falcons was huge with a 14 posession first 1/4 in the midfield then 8.4 in the last 3/4s. Going up from kids to men is a big gap but draftees do it every year.

Re:Dangerfield named Reply to this message
obviously he trains with falcons , plus you would think he has a training schedule from the crows with certain goals he would need to meet. crows have people in Melbourne who would probably be keeping an eye on him plus he comes over during school hols. he did a complete preseason so would have a good fitness base behind him to start with. he played for west Adelaide last weekend , was it school holidays , or does he come over sometimes even if its not?

Re:Dangerfield named Reply to this message
ok i was thinking about this earlier..
how do they monitor dangerfields progress when hes in or near geelong. If hes only training a couple of weeks here every few months surely its not enough?

Re:Dangerfield named Reply to this message
Unlikely to play but given Adelaide's need to continue to develop with not much to come from Edwards, Goodwin and Mcleod he has to play sooner rather than later.

Dangerfield named Reply to this message
Noticed the crows have named Dangerfield as one of the interchange bench, Surley he would not play. from what i have heard he has been playing school boy footy and training with the crows in the school holidays.

Would be an interesting move but i would think others on the list have done more in the SANFL.
