Hudson did his knee at aami against Port, unless they played them at the dome. I don't think Biglands would have been that good this year anyway, give Griffen a go cause I think he'll blossom nicely.

well this could be Brad Moran's time to shine then. 200 odd cm's , can run & jump . I know he's been groomed for down back , but really he's ruckman. Go Moran!!!!

Hudson wanted 3 years and the Crows offered him two which seems fair for a 29yo. Apparently wanted 1 million bucks too. When a player overrates himself like that I guess the club has to draw the line somewhere.

not so much bad luck just dumb planning, why didn't they give hudson the 2 year deal he wanted - why rehab a player and them offer them 1 year?? Biglands was nevr going to be able to carry a full load this year. as i said "Dumb Planning" - not to mention Torney!!

I think Hudson did his at Telstra(Docklands) , just before the finals series in 2006. And he was really in good form, and the Crows suffered badly due to his absence in that finals series.
He wasnt that good last year though, but he will be missed 2008.
And Rehn did his knee in preseason on one of those discs on the ground, didnt he?? |

Rehn had 2 recos, Hudson one, Biglands looks like going around again. Can anyone think of any other Crow ruckmen to go down with a reco? Dunno if they all happened on the same ground but certainly is interesting.

Yep, they're expecting the worst. Lots of responsibility on Maric and Griffin now.

If I feel like commenting on the Dees, Saints or Tigers, I will. At the moment I'm pointing out that the Crows have had a bad run the last year and a half...is that alright with you?
I read a report after last season that the two teams hardest hit by injuries were the Lions and the Crows. |

the injuries to the Crows has not been as bad as teams such as the Dee,s, Saints or the Tigers...so get over it, atleast you still have some good young ruckmen

It's feared Biglands has re-torn the AC ligament in his reconstructed knee. If so, that would be his season and probably his career. Hope it's not that serious...the Crows can't take a trick with injuries in the last couple of years.
