port it still doesn't excuse him from taking a spot in the team for someone who could contribute.
Finals can't afford passengers and his last game he was a passenger. A sad way for him to end it true but a more glorious ending would of been retiring without the sad send off. |

Roo was a great player. 312 games and captain of his club. Was there a Crow more passionate and hardworking than the Roo?
Any id1ot can see how much talent was oozing from this lad. Pity injuries kept him out for much of this season and perhaps another season.
Great work Roo |

Nah, there is a few of em around Don but they often keep low because there are a number of Port fans that just bag the sh1t out of em for not getting behind one team only (namely Port). I don´t do that, each to themselves I say and the Power can hardly afford to be refusing someones support can we?
There aren´t too many Crows fans that say that sort of thing to dual supporters though. Interesting. |

Fair call. Then that's the way it shall be taken.
Telling the truth: you're the first person I've ever heard say that they support both tho'... |

| Don, I support both my local teams, don't buy into that cross-town hate stuff...so I'd like to think that my congratulations can be counted as coming from a Crows supporter. |

Free - your 'congratulations' don't count as far as what I was talking about... you're a Port fan, right?
And I did congratulate Port - didn't feel the need to do so in that particular thread, but I did in the main forums. Not wise to offer absolutes. ;)
Now knowing you as a poster Port I realise the comments weren't intended the way I initially took them. I did read them as cheeky then. Pretty sure that neither you nor I really care that much about it either way tho' - water under the bridge 'n' all... |

Hey Don, I´m always one to defend myself...I believe those posts that you refer to about (involving me) where not actually all that cheeky on my part. I believe I was more about....We have a good record in Tassie. May the best team win. We are both having good years despite people saying bottom 8 (for both of us) and that our overall record against Hawthorn is impressive and that the game should be close. I hardly think I was cheeky at all leading up to that game.
Certainly no more than a lot of Hawk supporters were in any event.
Tis all good. We won then and now we are in a prelim.
Crows aren´t. If you want a look at cheeky you can check out some of the misguided confidence in these here threads in the Crows board (as you no doubt already have at different stages).
Sorry mate, but I have to defend myself.
GO THE POWER! |

| Hardly abuse, just an observation. I did check the thread in question, and after talking about "WHEN Port lose" there were no congrats or anything else gracious in defeat. However, I do apologize if your congratulations were delivered in a different thread. |

Firstly, thanks... nicely tempered with a bit of abuse, huh Free?
Excuse me, but you're wrong on several levels: *shooting my mouth off prior to the Port game? Errr... no. Port1870 came into the Hawk forums & was very cheeky. I merely told him that I hoped he was as chipper post game. He was, and I did congratulate him on the win. You might want to check up on things a lil' before running off your own mouth. ;) |

| OK Don, congrats to your Hawks, they had the firepower to do the job and executed better when it mattered. You don't practise what you preach though, I remember you shooting your mouth off in fairly arrogant fashion prior to the Port/Hawthorn match but having nothing to say about it afterwards, certainly no congratulations. |

Wow crows supporters show great support for their reteiring captain by saying he cost them the game.
Sure he couldve been replaced by a fitter player but in the end we played better on the day. |

Roo shouldn't have played he took a postion a fully fit player could have filled.
4 touches and on the bench for the last quarter.
Maybe he was the difference between winning and losing for the Crows?
Just a thought don't get me wrong he is or was an awesome player but thought he cost Crows the game yesterday. |
