| Thank goodness you started to spell Neil Craig's name correctly, smoking, that was starting to irritate me more than the way the Crows are being coached right now. Craig DID have a hand in the Premiership cups. I do agree we need to get some draft picks and reshape this team. I don't have the answers, just suggestions. If we get a new coach, where will he come from????? If I had a preference, bring in Leigh Matthews. He knows how to produce a team. |

| lmfao oddie..i was thinking the same thing...u sound like my wife ,always arguing the point with me lol and mate ...i wouldnt be to worried if passion is her only complaint..when she starts complaining about you commitment and determination,or she need the game plan changed,or she complaining about the last quarter fade out's, that when id start worrying!!!! :) now...why dont i think neil craig has or will evolve..well maybe he will evolve..who knows!! but i would have thought that making the 05 prelim against the west coke eagles would have been a good start to our foundation...then 06 prelim came along...did we evolve??? NO we allowed the west coke eagles to exactly the same thing to us as we did the year before!! even so, after 2 years of making the prelim final ,that would be a fairly decent foundation!!! wouldnt you say?? and how did they beat us...they ran at our zone defense.. got 75m out and then went long which gave our back's no time to reset the defense....now where 2 years further along...has anything changed with our game plan..i dont think so.... the deference between now and then is, what??? well,with craigs game plan ,nothing's changed but other teams have evolved and now there running at us to!!!Patience dont win you football games ,mate...kicking the ball from goal to goal is a good start to winning!! so oddie, what would you have done on friday night when at half time ,we had gone in to the 50m area as many times as geelong did and we were being flogged all over the ground..would you have stayed with the game plan that was obviously not working or would you have changed up the game plan to try to turn it around??? any coach who is worth a pinch of salt would try to change it up. and if there not willing to change it up then i think the supporter's have every right to ask the question" does niel have a plan b" |

| smokin....you sound just like my wife.....passion,passion, passion, wheres the passion!!! oh yea ,and she says it about the crows too. yes ,geelong were playing a game similar to Adelaide's`s current game , sideways instead of forwards , that's my point , its a learning curve , a team cant just play to a finished plan ,they've got to actually learn how to do it , build a foundation and then gradually perfect the plan till the finished product is completed . this is what Thompson did and at the time he didn`t appear to have a plan B either , which is why people were calling for his head. a plan B is just a short term fix and a distraction from the final destination. this team is not ready to go to the top yet so it doesn`t matter if a bit of pain is felt along the way, a loss here and there is not a problem , and neither is an apparent lack of passion , methodical thinking and hard work is the way to best learn the ropes , once this is achieved and becomes instinctive then the ingredient of passion can be added . i fail to see how you`ve come to the conclusion that Craig wont "evolve" and will always be stuck , the same things were undoubtedly said about Thompson a couple of years ago , how wrong were his critics and how wrong Neil Craig's critics will also be in my opinion. we don't need plan B we just need patience. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| thats not the point freedirt--all geelong did was play an excellent brand of---BASIC FOOTBALL- nothing more but because neil craig has turned everything into a science we cant match anyone of note---football is so basic, its not rocket science-- get in front--tackle---try to stay on your man etc etc---lead into open spaces-geelong did that friday nite --they didnt do anything scientific-- the sooner the crows and for that matter port go back to playing basic accountable football then the sooner we will start beating the sides above us | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The Crows have no forwards aside from Burton, who they rely on far too much, and their skill level of late has been atrocious. The number of broken tackles and players who fell over rather than providing a contest against Geelong was a disgrace. Having said that, I do think the Crows are suffering for their years of competitiveness, never bottoming out and getting high draft picks. The Geelong side is stacked with high picks thanks to their being rewarded for years of non-performance. |

| morning oddie... lol im not looking for any cliff edge's just yet...lol... but seriously , i tend to agree with most of what u got to say except 1 line..."the only reason your disappointed is that your expectations are unrealistically high " sorry mate,im far from being unrealistic... i always thought that geelong were atleast a 5 goal better side than us at the moment..it not the loss thats the problem ...it the passion,commitment,the pride or should i say lack of it..they were disgraceful friday night, they looked like a pack of boys playing against a team of men..to be honest ..in my humble opinion..half the player on friday night should have taken there jumper off at half time and stuck it in the middle of the ground because none of them was showing any pride in wearing the red yellow and blue!!!!i dont expect to win every week but i do expect my team to show some grit ,passion, determination and most of all some PRIDE!!! As for them screaming for Thompson blood..correct me if im wrong...but at the time wasnt he playing the same sort of game plan as niel craig is using at the moment...to busy kicking it side to side rather than kicking it from goal to goal?? but the difference between Thompson and niel craig is that Thompson evolved and neil craig is , and always will be stuck in the "process"... im not screaming for craigs blood ..i just want him to show me that he can actually think outside the circle and can change things up when things arnt going right.. i dont think thats to much to ask from a coach to have a plan B!! |

| come on smokin....don't despair.... no club can be at the top all the time , its been pretty obvious since before this season even started that Adelaide is in a rebuild phase . the only reason your disappointed is that your expectations are unrealistically high , go back a couple of years and remember where geelong were then , a bunch of rabble who appeared to be going nowhere fast , their strongest supporters criticizing them for not attacking and baying for the blood of coach Thompson.(sound familiar?) if not for a patient and forward thinking board who refused to bow to public pressure and jerk their collective knee , geelong wouldn`t have the big trophy in the cupboard from last year and and one big hand on another. | well if ugly is a reason to sack someone then there goes half the AFL...lol.... but seriously all last night proved to me that niel craig still has no idea what to do when his plan doesnt work...ive been saying for the last month that niel craig needs a plan B or the crows need a new coach.. well after our last 6 weeks he has shown me nothing to change my mind...the loss to west coast which was a disgrace,we only struggled across the line against essendon and richmond. we played in to hawthorns hand, playing that piss weak zone ,went to brisbane played like a pack amatures ..and as for last night..i have never seen so many people so disgusted in the lack of presure in the whole time ive been going to the crows game... Niel craig is so stuck in the "process" that he cant even think out side the circle...and at this rate we may as well come up with a new saying "6 in a row is the way to crow" but unfortunately it will be 6 losses in a row if were going to put up these lackluster, disgraceful, uninspired performances...we will be getting smashed by collingwood, sydney and even port could beat us at the moment.... about time they started to show some pride!!! because after what i saw last night i think will be lucky to make 8th and to be honest after what ive seen for the last 6 weeks and unfortunately can find any reason why Niel craig should stay!!!!! well done geelong you were to good, to fast, and basically showed the boys exactly what real football looks like!!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
