| port are primed for this one...good solid win goin into showdown always a lifter, the crows return home losing and im sure williams will set a similiar game plan against the crows...we have chaplin, s burgoyne, harlett and thomas all coming back in. thomas had a great game in the last showdown as did chaplin. broadbent, salter and davenport all had good games at the weekend, so a few youngsters not well known in the game should add some spark. crows would be slight favourites even though we beat you earlier in the year. |

Not sure why people dont understand that St Kilda are just a superior side to the Crows right now. Even at 80-85% St Kilda are better than the Crows best. The Crows are a developing side and are still 2 years away from being at their best. Its no joy to watch your side get hammered but I am realistic about where the Crows are at with their development and they are not at the stage of the Saints, Hawthorn, who I said weeks ago should not be written off, the Dogs and Geelong. I expect the Crows will still play finals but will have minimal impact. Anything more will be a bonus. The positive was the debut of Brodie Martin and Brett Burton getting a game under his belt.
Yesterday was good reality check for those Crow players and supporters who got ahead of themselves after beating seven sides who will not figure in finals calculations this year. I hoped the Crows would be competitive but knew the Saints could inflict such damage. Lets move on so we can fire up and put Ports finals dreams to rest.;) |

Plan B
Just wondering whether niel craig has a plan B... it was obvious today that the hawks were playing on and running at our zone defense..and yet we persist with it... Im wondering if he's ever heard off "man on man" football??
Just change the hawks to the saints and u can see that this question still is applicable 12 months later!!
although the crows have changed there game plan in the last 7 weeks..when it comes to the crunch they fell back into bad habits and forgot what got them 7 wins in a row in the first place. |

I am annoyed at the poor effort they put in against the saints today.it was clear their plan was not working so why dont they have a plan B.
Cmon crows show some guts and attack the ball dont wait for the other side to make the first move.
too big a gap betweem the top 2 for any other side to win the flag |
