Bush - Making fascism fashionable again. Reply to this message
As the U.S. lurches towards the end of President George Bush’s reign of terror, it can look back at a number of Mr. Bush’s ‘accomplishments:’ transforming a record-breaking budget surplus into a record-breaking deficit; starting two wars for no good reason, and generally making fascism fashionable again.

The evaluation and discussion of any of those ‘accomplishments’ is worthy of a volume of books. However, one area that might not be so closely studied is Mr. Bush’s alteration of the English language. A few examples will suffice to show either his brilliance, or the gullibility and stupidity of the U.S. voter. Which it is will be obvious on November 4 (Election Day).

In November of 2000, Mr. Bush proclaimed that he had ‘won’ the presidential election of the most prominent so-called democracy in the world. One tires of pointing out to Mr. Bush that winning an election means garnering more votes than your opponent. Mr. Bush did not win the 2000 presidential election; former Vice President Al Gore did. That Mr. Bush was appointed president by the Supreme Court means he became president, not that he won the election. But by saying it often enough, people do tend to believe it.

Four years later, for reasons that call into question the judgment of the U.S. voter, Mr. Bush did indeed win the election, garnering more votes than his opponent, Massachusetts Senator John Kerry. Voting irregularities in such states as Ohio will not be detailed here. Mr. Bush promptly proclaimed that he had ‘political capital’ to spend, meaning, apparently, that he would run roughshod over all opponents for as long as he wanted to. How this was any different from his first four years in office is not entirely clear, but was somewhat frightening

Interestingly during the last election, because the septic presidents like to call themselves the leaders of the free world there was a website asking the rest of the world how we would vote. It was well set-up and controlled. Bush got hammered and only got 4% of the vote. See the rest of us are not morons at all but doubtless the yanks are simple math proves it.

Bush we know to be a moron.

Those who failed to vote, roughly 45% of the eligible population, who allowed a moron to be elected are therefore morons.

Those who voted for Bush 60% of the 45% of eligible voters who did vote are morons for voting for a moron.

The 40% of the 45% of eligible voters who voted for someone else are sadly out numbered.

vastravells - I disagree!

Bush's reign is one of "gross incompetence" and "unfathomable stupidity"!!!

A reign of terror belongs to the likes of Hitler, Idi Amin, Pol Pot, Burma's Junta, Mugabe, and oh wait - the sanctioning of "TORTURE" by Bush and his cronies do come under the "terror" heading.

My apologies. Carry on...

BUsh is an idiot.

He went to Iraq to finish what his Daddy started.

He belongs on a ranch in Texas somewhere far away from making any BIG DECISIONS and NOWHERE NEAR the whitehouse where he is able to STUFF up American policies.
The sooner he's out of there the better.
STOP THE WAR IN IRAQ!!!!!

oh yes so next time some idiots decide to fly planes into major buildings purhaps we should just ignore it and hope they stop, HELLO PEOPLE, war is gonna happen no matter who is in office as long as there are people who want to rule the world aka Hitler etc, terrosism think they are just going to change their mind, please might sing a different tune when its your town they hit next, old times they would of just dropped a bomb on the whole country and be done with it, but Americans are too compasionate for that, although these terrorist dont have a bit of problem killing off everyone else women children included, he just happen to be in office when it happened, oh lets not forget that pointless war in desert storm supported by Clinton who dodged the draft and would not even fight for America hisself, not to mention turning the White House into a Jerry Springer show, and your calling Bush a Moron.

Talkin bout ol georgie boy, this was on a news headline . .

US President George W Bush has revealed that he quit playing golf in 2003 out of respect for the families of US soldiers killed in the conflict in Iraq, now in its sixth year.

I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal he said in an interview for Yahoo and Politico magazine.

I had to take out the quote marks above due to the stupid yahoo setup

But I reckon this had NOTHING to do with respect of the troops and EVERYTHING to do with him being filmed by Michael Moore at a golf course where he was asked about the war then he played a golf shot and asked for comments on it. What a sleeze he is. Just a bad waste of everyones air

"so next time some idiots decide to fly planes into major buildings purhaps we should just ignore it and hope they stop, HELLO PEOPLE,"

HELLO yourself...considering that most of the hijackers were Saudis funded via Pakistan, yet the US and UK invaded Iraq and Afgh *** tan (thereby enraging the whole of the Middle East and creating a logarithmic increase in peoples hostile to America and the West) perhaps your govt should have thought a bit more about its supposed 'strategy'?

Except for the fact that the US had plans for the invasion of Iraq before 9/11...and were only persuaded to attack Afgh *** tan first by Colin Powell.
