We just returned from a holiday in New Zealand. We took our passports which were not really needed, just for identification purposes only. However, to be on the safe side I would take your passports with you. Enjoy New Zealand, we did. It is the most beautiful place on earth. If you can get to Milford Sound in the South Island do so, it is exactly the same as when Captain Cook first visited it. It is a magical place, waterfalls, dolphins/porpoises,rainbo ws, sea birds, no cars, no advertising, nothing there but magic.

You might be able to get INTO NZ FROM Oz without a passport, but you won't get FROM NZ INTO Oz without a passport.

Re:travelling to nz Reply to this message
New Zealand.... sheesh. Most people are leaving. Believe me ...it's for a very good reason

The reason people are leaving is due to a shortage of employment opportunities for the "unskilled and unqualified"

If visiting, go to the Hokianga Harbour on the West coast of the North Island, about 4 hours north of Auckland.

NZ is a beautiful country. You can see so many different natural phenomena. You can also see traffic chaos.

A young australian kid said he had never seen so many mountains, but we call them hills. LOL

Have a good time.

This country is full of all sorts of twits.

I agree with princess. Perhaps you should grow up never. I mean you can continue to pay us online but what is that going to do? Lol i mean what is that going to change? Does it make you feel bigger than everyone else? What does that prove?
