A lovely, laidback, lazy, easy-to-get-around, personality, friendly, informative city. Go there..

Re:Darwin Reply to this message
Well, I am a weather person. What the heck!

The Esplanade had hotels such as 'The Atrium' which I give it a thumbs up. It has a massive indoor garden with a lagoon like lagoon in the centre, surrounded by bars and cafes and information centres. It has four floors I think and a glass elevator that I enjoy going up and down on. Great rooms, great service, great views of Darwin Harbour and great prices. An excellent hotel.

The other hotels are very similar when it comes to the Esplanade. Darwin is easy to get around so you wont get lost and the Atrium, and the Palm City Resort are close to attractions such as Smith St Mall, Stokes Hill Wharf, Doctors Gully and the WW2 Storage Tunnels. You would have a cracker of a time in Darwin, might see you around!

Dont hesitate to ask any questions if you wish.

Re:Darwin Reply to this message
Darwin is close to everything by the way Opt, a great bus service and footpaths. From the Atrium to Casurina, you can catch a bus from the Terminus and pay only 2 bucks for a bus to Casuarina Shopping Square. Walk it, probably three hours. Great walks though, it is worth it.

Fannie Bay is also going off with $2 sherry drinkers and also most of the parks in parmerslum,Sorry most parts of the top end.I love Darwin and was born here but what the problem really is ! is that the top end does not have enought parks to accommodate those wanting to get s h i t f a c e d under a tree anymore.

Ahem, not sure if you actually live there now. But the "tree drinkers" are now going to civilized pubs becuase the Dry season is here.
