| Take travel sick tablets a few days before... because once it kicks in it's too late. Also, they are 5 times the price on board as they are at the chemist. |

Don't ever leave your cabin unlocked. If you're sharing with others, keep your sheizer locked away safely.
Also, the guides you can opt to go along (comes at a price) are very much worth it. Unless you're an old hand at travelling new places or been there before, you probably won't get as much of an idea wandering around by yourself as you would with a tour. Bicycling around Noumea was great, and the bus/van tour we did in Vanuatu was interesting to say the least (the driver was a deadset maniac though; just like everyone else on the island). |

Used to work on ships the trick with seasickness it to take the tablets before you sail and regularly for the 1st few days till you get used to "the motion of the ocean!"
If you feel a little green munch on dry crackers-don't look at
sea!If you are vomitting get the jab which stops it BUT you then need to use the tablets-the jab only lasts 6-8 hours-many people think it works for the whole cruise.Normal nausea drugs DONOT work for seasickness-so go for antihistamines which are non prescription and can be bought over the counter!! BE PREPARED!!! as medicare does not apply at sea! |

| Actually they are not sister ships at all. Pacific Dawn is the old Regal Princess and is considerably larger than Pacific Sun. Dawn has a sister ship, but last I heard it was sailing with a German line under a completely different name. Don't know if Sun has a sister. |
