Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
my experiences include:.... no timeshare available in the places that I chose to go to, on any of the dates that I specified to travel. No one available to speak to with regards to available timeshare, and no one EVER calls you back. Truly, poor customer service at all levels.

I have had nothing but GREAT experiences with Club Labourse. They have some of the best priced travel deals on the market?

Their team is professional and helped me with our families recent trip to Europe. I could not have got the same price anywhere else.

Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
So, for the viewers at home, who may not understand the rules to this game, here goes: It seems that Club La Bourse gets a little upset with the endless (and well founded) criticism here, so "coincidently" brand new ID's that no one has seen before start coming in here defending the company, and then threatening other posters with legal action.

It's hilarious in it's desperation to save the scam.

Hi aaron - I reckon you have their number, and anyone who deals with this mob ought to be aware.

BTW - how was your trip to central/southAm?

G'day dissent. Really good to see you again.

My trip was absolutely amazing. I loved it. Hopefully going back to do the countries I missed, and a little bit of South America in November.

Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
Yeah hi aaron - glad the trip was a success. Some fascinating places to see in the western hemishpere.

I haven't been travelling for a while, since I went mad and took a full-time job in Adelaide last year. Really want to get out again, enjoy being a grumpy old man on the road. Sort of enjoy my job, but it doesn't provide the flexibility I used to enjoy so much.

Did you make it to Cuba?

Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
Nah, I missed out on Cuba, which was probably for the best, since I had a few issues with US Immigration when I returned from Mexico on the way home. (They tried to say I overstayed my visa. Interesting how that works when it was valid for 3 months and Id only been away from home for 1.5 months!)

So in the end it was just Guatemala, Belize and Mexico, which was still great. I loved Mexico and Guatemala.

I posted my thoughts on the trip here, if you're interested and have time: http://au.messages.yahoo.com/news/travel/7346?p=la st#msg_7346

Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
Certainly to Laos. I want to do a boat ride up the Mekhong. My wife went there late last year (I was supposed to go too, but stuck in Adelaide) and now I'm really filled with envy and petty resentment that I missed out.

Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
Your petty resentment is well founded. It's an awesome trip.

But try and do one in the south of the country. It's far less touristed I think.

Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
I was just making a comment about my travel experience....that was all.

Sounds like it's no wonder that the US Homeland Security did not let you in, so Aaron for the viewers at home (as the saying goes)....who is the shady one?, and the U.S Government confirmed that for the viewers at home. They are the second biggest Gov Dept in the world I don't think they got it wrong?

More on Aaron after this short break...

I'm sure the guys at YAHOO will be interested to know why the U.S Homeland Security has started watching this thread? (as they watch all posts referring to their name)

I'm sure they will not want to get involved in that?

See ya and thanks!!

Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
heh....well....it's better than the usual threats of legal action you throw out whenever your club is spoken about in a negative light, so Ill commend you on that at least.

You seriously make me laugh.

For the record, I was let in and have the passport stamps to prove it.

Im sure someone will tell you what they're really like.

And then cop the threats of legal action that the company's reps like throwing out at people who want to share their bad experiences with the club.

Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
Stop don't even think about dealing with this company. They do not provide the service they say at there seminars and they do not offer money back (cooling off period) We where promised accomodation we where looking on the night would be available and when they (Club Labourse) got our money they seem to disappear we where chasing them in the end they said they could not provide the request. I got on the internet within 15minutes found my own accomodation. Everytime a new chat area gets started they seem to delete or blacklist the person. I will go on warning people and bring on the legal stuff I have enough supporting documents. DO NOT PURCHASE OF CLUB LABOURSE.......

Do me a favor Yahoo! and define PROFANITY.......what I stated in the last thread certainly was NOT profanity. Which leads me to mention, that these messages boards are for the people....to discuss topics.. such as this one. Seems to me that you like it to be ALL GOOD.... ALL OF THE TIME! Get Real!

Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
DO NOT PURCHASE OFF CLUB LA-BOURSE. They do have a money back offer or they would go broke. If you where lucky enough to read my last response before they deleted as they seem to do with negative feed back. BEWARE I feel it is a waste of money. Here is a site to read what was written in SA http://www.ocba.sa.gov.au/assets/medicomms/mreleas e_club_labourse.pdf

Be careful hate people to go through what we are going through to recovery our money back after being promised something on the night of purchase and they did not do what was promised so we requested our money back all we got was calls not returned and a rude call from CLBMA - management telling me tuff see you in court.

Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
Hello Everyone,
Does anyone know a way to recover the money from them?
I have written them a letter last year explaining why we want to cancel as their service is no different from a local travel agent if not worse. Of course they did not reply.
Much appreciate your response,
Boris

Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
Basically, you do have to go all the way with this one.... Consumer Affairs and then, wait to see whether it goes to tribunal or not.... I personally had a positive outcome. So there is hope, keep up the pressure, and good luck!

Re:Club La-Bourse Reply to this message
Thanks a lot for the advice!
Can you please outline the process involved?
So do I just keep writing letters to LaBourse?
Ring them up and then take it up with Consumer Affairs?
Thank you in advance,
Boris
