you need to pay staff alot and have a great culture which costs money for customer service. Customer service improves with a great deal of staff.

You HAVE to be joking???? Only time I got ANY response from QANTAS was after numerous complaints and a threat of getting the ombudsmen involved then they did not even try and contact me BUT sent a VERY small gift voucher-pathetic compensation for a $2500 airfare with NO entertainment system on ANY of the legs AND admitting that there were at least 30 seat with the same problem AND asked by the cabin crew to complete a written complaint!! NO WAY I WOULD EVER USE THEM FOR A LONG HAUL FLIGHT AGAIN.
I can get much better value/service/entertainme nt/food from NUMEROUS other airlines and I fly to the UK at least once a year! |

The only time I fly Qantas is when work pays. They would have to be the most incompetent bunch around. No idea of customer service and some times just plain rude. Their so called lounge is rubbish and not worth the expense.
You don;t have to pay a lot to instill a responsibility of customer service. It's starts with being helpful |

We have no choice to fly jetsar even though we booked and paid for to fly Qantas to Bali .
Qantas offloaded all of their Bali flights to Jetstar over the christmas period , Qantas is only refunding us $40 off of each ticket but they do have to supply the meals .

Check out this scam.
If you look at the price of roundtrips tickets originating in Australia to Honolulu, Hawaii they are about $450 USD. If you keep the same dates but switch the originating to Honolulu they double in price to over $900USD. So basically if you are not Australian or not originating in Australia JetStar decides that you can pay double for the same exact flight. Now that's a cheat. |

Catalan, you will find many airlines do this same thing, its not only Jetstar.
If you think that is bad how about this, here in Vietnam up to a few years ago if VN airlines had discount fares, it was for Asians only and as a foreigner you could not get a ticket. Now is that racist or what. |

| The problem is not in their flights and what is available there. Its in the attitude of SALMAT, also known as Salesforce. Jetstar has outsourced all call centre operations to salesforce and these people have to be the rudest bunch of morons I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Not to mention the fact that you can't understand most of them. I'm not racist, but if you don't speak english very well what the hell would you be doing in a career like that. Jetstar has a lot to answer for. Whats wrong with Australian Salesforce, why go overseas.??????? |

Some of you whingers need to remember if you pay for No Frills that's what you'll get , I used Tiger last Zmas to Perth it was very cheap , but mu flight got cancelled 2 hours before departure because the flight wasn't full , I ended up flying Qantas (as jetstar full) & paid over double ,I wasn't happy but if you pay 40% of Qantas fare you must expect these thing could happen.
