Anyone had/have a vehicle with one???...

Any issues???...Explanations on it???...my car skills have been neglected so not up to date...

Tiptronic box.

not conceived by the japanese, but germans and french about 50 years ago.
Ferlec clutchless on Dauphine related.
Porsche /NSU used ZF type box mid 1960's.
Porsche sorta own the idea.

Then Renault 12/16 is first mass produced car , possibly to use the solonoid type auto box.
Pre-dates modern type transmission .
*But Porsche has the idea with the change in shift modes.

Change oil frequently, plus filters.
Do not run car too hot as you destroy the g/box electrics!
Oil cooler on box.
