Murdoch seems to forget ... Reply to this message
Murdoch said: "I think Australia can play a very important part, but the idea that Australia or an Australian prime minister is going to be able to shift global opinion the way Mr Rudd seems to think ... If he genuinely believes that, he is deluded." Well, Rupert, you seem to have forgotten just how little you once were considered to be in the scheme of things and yet you overcame that. Rudd is having a go. Why don't you back him up?

Foreign own media

We can only speculate as to the real reasons for the media campaign.

Maybe it was the media's self-righteous indignation of Pauline Hanson would dare speak out about immigration and the aboriginal industry - topics that had been taboo in the media for years.

Maybe it was because the extremely powerful men who control Australia's media are quite comfortable with the Labor/Liberal duopoly in politics.

The media barons know they can get their way with either when they are in power. One Nation would appear to them as a renegade outfit.

It might not be so compliant - better to destroy it at birth. There is strong evidence that the Packer and Murdoch media have led the anti-Hanson campaign.

But one fact remains - the Foreign own media media in Australia have far too much power and influence.

Who agrees with the fact that the Foreign own media in Australia have far too much power and influence

I betchya his views would be different if Howard was still PM!

Thankfully the man will probably croak soon and we won't have to listen to his rightwing racist rantings anymore!

Sure hope Rudd doesn't shell out taxpayer money to give this toejam a state funeral like Howard did for that other skumbag Packer!

All this from a man who is a traitor to his country. Delisted from the Aussie stock exchange and listed on the NY stock exchange as a Delaware compnay so it does not pay any tax.

He is also a Yank and should have his aussie passport removed and shredded and if he stays in Aussie more than 90 days be treated like an illegal.

Murdoch = maggot.
He is a traitor to Australia, and its people/beliefs, and has NO idea what the words 'balanced reporting' mean.
He never did.
