I don't understand why they walked out?
She has never hidden the fact that she lipsynchs during her liveshows so why are they upset???
I pity the poor fools who shelled out $1700 for the love seats in the front rows!
I pity them for not having any brains whatsoever!!!
I guess we've all been spoilt by the ALL LIVE SINGING Pink concerts a few months ago. |

Bette, did you WATCH the videos of her performing?
The word LACKLUSTRE barely describes what was onstage- it was bad, boring....I couldn't help thinking that 10 years ago was when she shone, and now it's gone, for sure.
I couldn't even sit all the way through the whole 2 minutes of the second video- had a strong compulsion to get a piece of bread.lol
Whatever she Had, she's lost, through all the years of being at the bottom. |

aszure - I wonder if the shows she is doing in Australia are a tamed down version of the ones she has done elsewhere around the world?
This "Circus" tour is the No. 1 concert tour of 2009 - WORLDWIDE!
She has performed to millions around the world - selling out 20,000 seat arenas and the first negative review has come from her first concert in Perth!!!
Either she has been this woeful all around the world - and millions have kept their disappointment a secret - or she is doing something drastically different that has upset dozens of fans and critics! |

Britney Yet to Hit Stride

Don't call it a comeback quite yet. Britney Spears still isn't all the way there. At least not from the standpoint of the kickoff concert of her much-anticipated Circus tour - her first trek in five years - at the New Orleans Arena Tuesday night.
While she avoided the train wreck that was her 2007 MTV Video Music Awards appearance, a visibly nervous Spears, performing in front of enthusiastic fans near her Kentwood, La., hometown, never really hit her old stride.
The circus-themed extravaganza, played out across an adventurous three-ring set, opened with an extended introduction featuring clowns, acrobats and jugglers, making it way too long before Spears finally hit the stage.
Descending from above in a red ringmaster-meets-dominatr ix outfit to sing her hit "Circus," she showed that her body was tight, even if her dancing always wasn't. Indeed, throughout the show's four sections, there was a lot more strutting than real choreographic feats from Spears. And there was a decided lack of joy in her performance, which felt labored at times.

Entertainers generally fail to impress me. Nobody is worth hundreds of dollars just so I can sit sevral hundred metres away from them. The only two I recall who did come across as halfway decent people were Slim Dusty who did limit his audience sizes & was always at the door after his shows to thank people for coming, a real gentleman. The other is Chad Morgan (the sheik of scrubby creek) who wandered across after a performance to ask partner (female) & moi to ask if he could buy us a drink and have a chat about our opinion on his presentation. |

Save your money everyone!
There's probably a Silvers circus playing near you and heaps cheaper! |
