as if people are saying that their own family is perfect.
the logistics of caring for 14 children is astounding, that should be enough to put most sane rational people off creating such a situation for themsleves.
If you had money to get the help to look after them then it would be very different.
petition is simply ridiculous because most people just have a couple of kids and suffer through that in various ways.
14 biological children is over the top and it is an extreme situation. |

| Stopping additional baby bonus/welfare is great idea to stop selfish parents having more than 4 kids that they can't afford to feed. To stop another baby accidentally slipping thru the crack b/c parents stuuffs up, continuing welfare payments for existing kids can be linked to getting a doctor's certificate that mum has Implanon contraceptive implanted into arm which will work for 3 years. No excuses then really. For those who keep abusing welfare system, introduce stoopid parent levy surcharge (like medicare/insurance surcharge)to reclaim from kids once grown-up and working the welfare costs from raising them. Hav as many kids then if parents can pay for them. |

| As long as they are looking after them themselves, not expecting the tax payer too. Good on them. However, if they cannot afford these children, that is another storey. Personally not sure why in this day and age you would have so many children. Anyway as I said, as long as they bring them up with morals, don't have their hand out wanting money from the govt and are not bringing no hopers into the world, who am I to judge. However, if they are living off the Govt, and waiting for their baby bonus, that is wrong. Anyway with the country in the financial mess we are in, it is time the Govt scrap the baby bonus, it is a joke, you should not get paid to have children. |
