The plot thickens.....
The ex-wife of Michael Jackson has said in an interview she plans to fight for custody of the two children she had with the tragic pop icon.
"I want my children," Debbie Rowe said in a 90-minute interview with NBC television's local network in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The station reported on its website that Rowe had said she was willing to submit to any testing, including DNA, to prove she was the biological mother of Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11.
Rowe, who was married to Jackson for three years from 1996, also said she was willing to undergo psychological testing in any custody claim.
NBCLA said Rowe would also seek a restraining order to keep Jackson's father, Joe Jackson, away from the children.
Rowe has been largely silent since the sudden death of Jackson, 50, on June 25 from an apparent cardiac arrest. |

The home video they showed of Michael with the littlies; showed how much they loved thier Daddy-dont think they suffered from the life they led.
They are American kids-bad enough they lose their father-but to be taken away from the only other family members they have ever known since they were young and come to a strange country-would be devestating.

The future of Michael Jackson's children was thrown into question when his ex-wife emerged and won a delay in a custody hearing while she decides whether she wants to raise her two offspring.
It was the first legal move from Deborah Rowe since the entertainer's death.
Jackson's will asks for his mother, Katherine, to get permanent custody of all three of his children.
Rowe, who met Jackson as a receptionist in the office of his dermatologist, has characterised their relationship as strictly for the purpose of birthing Jackson children.
She is the mother of his two oldest children and received $US8.5 million ($A10.75 million) in their divorce, according to court records.
His youngest child was conceived with a surrogate.
She has spent very little time with her son Michael Joseph Jr, known as Prince Michael, 12; and daughter Paris Michael Katherine, 11.
But Rowe also has opposed the idea of Katherine Jackson getting custody of her children when it came up in the past.
Rowe's lawyer, Eric George, said on Thursday she had not decided whether to seek custody.
Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff rescheduled a guardianship hearing for July 13 at the request of lawyers for Rowe and for Katherine Jackson, 79, who has temporary guardianship of her son's children. |

Meanwhile Rowe -- the mother of Jackson's two eldest children, Prince Michael Jackson Jr. 12, and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 11 -- appeared to be setting the stage for a legal wrangle with Jackson's parents over their future.
"I want my children," Rowe was quoted as telling NBC4 television in Los Angeles.
But her lawyer, Eric George, told reporters on Thursday that Rowe was still considering her position.
"I am representing to you now, Debbie has not reached a final decision concerning the pending custody proceedings," George said.
"DISTORTION OF THE TRUTH"
"I have no reason to doubt that what was reported from that conversation was accurately and ethically recorded, but that said, it would be a distortion of the truth to allow that single snapshot of a single conversation to stand as the truth of Debbie's position," he said. A court hearing on guardianship originally set for July 6, has been changed to July 13.
Temporary guardianship was granted earlier this week to Jackson's 79-year-old mother, Katherine Jackson. A 2002 will signed by Jackson specifically cut Rowe out of his estate and asked that his mother take care of the children.
Celebrity magazine People characterized the brewing legal dispute as a "fierce custody battle" and said Rowe spoke to her former attorney Iris Finsilver, who said of the conversation: "She is going to be pursuing custody of the children." |

I saw this today - and am a little disturbed.
Don't know why? I half expected a talented superstar/wacko who bleached his own skin to be "white" would strive for pure white children.
But I am saddened that Jacko never embraced the fact that as a black man he was gorgeous AND supremely talented (and sadly a wacko).
But I do understand his weird - but realistic - views of the world. His "pure white" children will never have to face any racial discrimination in their lifetimes.
I think this is where Jacko got the idea to have all white children - and of course, to make himself white skinned too!
Sadly again there are many around us who don't want anyone who isn't pure white - Hitler, Bush Jr, Howard.... anyone else who supports a "white only" policy.
RIP Michael.
I didn't care for your OTHER activities - but truly respected your passion for human rights AND OF COURSE - your musical brilliance. |

I saw the two older children on the video that came out yesterday on the news, briefly, and was surprised to see that they both were dark-haired, and even vaguely looked a bit like Michael. Perhaps....you never know.....if one ignores ALL the rumours.
None of us know, really, the real story. Who are we? Just media readers. |

| It's a mess. It's a five-star mess with those rich performers. Jackson, Madonna, Brad Pitt and a raft of others who adopt children. Those kids must be disturbed for life and lawyers, psychiatrists and rehabilitation centres are unashamedly lining up to cash in on the whole thing. |

Yes, I said that the 'plot thickens'. Perhaps I should have said that the plot is 'coagulating'.
An 80 yr old grandmother, with a presumably similar aged but not wanted grandfather lurking in the shadows, is not what I would call an ideal parent situation.
The biological mother is the only one who has ever lived a normal life, she's my best bet. |

| I know he had white children, but I know an aboriginal family, with different coloured parents, one brother is as white as white without a hint of aboriginal in him, the other is black. So I guess depending on the colour of the parents, your children can be any colour. |

The children of Michael Jackson do not know their mother and want to stay with the pop icon's relatives, family friend Jesse Jackson said after reports of a looming custody battle.
Jackson told MSNBC on Saturday he doubts whether a possible claim for custody by Debbie Rowe, the biological mother of the pop star's eldest son and daughter, would be in the best interests of the children.
"At this point Mrs Rowe has not been in their lives. They do not know her, she does not know them," said veteran activist Jackson, who is not related to the musical clan but is a close adviser.
"I'm convinced the family feels that the children will be more secure with their grandparents and with their cousins in this relationship," he added, describing the Jacksons as "the only family they've ever known".
Rowe, who was married to Jackson from 1996 to 1999, told local television on Thursday she planned to fight for custody of her two children with the pop star, although her lawyer later claimed no decision on a lawsuit had been taken.
A custody hearing scheduled for July 6 has now been reset for July 13.
On June 29 a Los Angeles court named the star's 79-year-old mother Katherine Jackson as the temporary guardian of Prince Michael, Paris and younger brother Prince Michael II, who was born to a secret surrogate.
A 2002 will filed in Los Angeles Superior Court revealed that Jackson wanted his mother to gain custody of his children in the event of his death, with soul legend Diana Ross named as a back-up guardian.
Rowe signed away her parental rights to her two children in 2001, describing Jackson as a "wonderful man... a brilliant father".
However a Los Angeles judge reversed the order in 2004 after Rowe cited concerns over publicity related to Jackson's prosecution for child molestation.
Rowe later settled the case with Jackson, reportedly securing visitation rights.
