Yeh sorry felixuosity, I had meant to put it to inverted rather than you.
I want inverted to understand that there are no guarantees in life... no such thing as a sure bet (unless I say so like I did about Takeover Target in the Goodwood in Adelaide for which my topic got wiped off this board after TT won ... very mysterious).
inverted has to understand that I do not gamble. Not me! A gambler will gamble on anything... a punter however bets to win.
All I can say is that 300 to 400 horses will run in the city meetings on Saturday. My fun is to pick one or two nags from that lot to give us a return. If I cannot find one to follow, I'll say so. But if I do pick one... just go for it, no questions asked! |

Wow.... well we actually HAVE to leave the house at some point to obtain food items and absorb sunlight. I dont HAVE to put 5k on a horse and hope it comes in first or i blow my coin.

Cool NH, thats what I like about your style, its not bust the bank its a calculated logical approach. Not much different to trading. Form and Information.

But I could put on a horse the price of alcohol, cigarettes and other assorted junk and not miss it if I lost it, oh and i can still pay the bills.

Just a reminder to those interested... top Perth sprinting star Scenic Blast will be contesting a group 1 race at Royal Ascot on Wednesday.
Scenic Blast will run in race 2 - The King's Stand Stakes for 3 year olds and up at 1000 meters.
Scenic Blast clinched a trip to England following his outstanding performances during the autumn carnival in Melbourne.
The four-year-old won the Group One Lightning Stakes (1000m) at Flemington on January 31 and Group One Newmarket Handicap (1200m) at the same track on March 7.
His only failure was a luckless fifth to Swiss Ace in the Group One Oakleigh Plate (1100m) at Caulfield on February 21. |

I think the horseracing is like informed educated gambling.If you do your homework you will have the benefit of better odds.You cant really liken it to pokies.

| Easier to go to your TAB and get them to show you how to fill out the form. Can be a bit trickie for a first timer. Or you can just tell the person at the counter what bet you want to place, location, race number, horse number, amount to win/place and they will do it for you. Simple. |
