The main reason people want her to be innocent is that she is attractive to look at.
Thats why nobody really cares about the more plain-looking girl that also got caught with drugs in Indonesia. |

Mercedes saying she had NEVER used drugs then photos show her using a bong? what about Mercedes comment about what 'Schapelle did" then oops I want it deleted???
Roseleigh-I don't know McCAulay!!! which they did and he has had numerous visits to Schapelle in jail.
You need to take a LONG hard look at the facts they alledge and the lies that have been proven! |

So True but! the trouble is tho! one she was arrested and tried in Indonesia, where Australian Law doesnt apply.
So complaining about it is a Moot point.
I am disappointed that the AFP didnt at least request a sample of the dope from the bogey Bag that at least could have help to narrow down the source of it. which could have either helped Schapelle or hurt her.
It is started to look like that at least one of the Corby Family was involved the stuff didnt just appear out of thin air, now that its been reveiled that the bagage handlers was lie. |

The prosecution offered corbys defence team ;the option of having the MJ sampled and tested to ascertain its origins.
The defence declined to take up the offer!

| I have just come back from bali and we went to kerokoban prison not inside only the outside and foyer of it.. she really chose the wrong country to take drugs to. it is a hole. oh well. |

AUSTRALIAN-grown marijuana was "high-grade", much better than that grown in Indonesia, and Jodie Power, the former best friend of Mercedes Corby, claimed to have smuggled some of the Australian variety into Bali in her beauty-case and shoes, the Supreme Court heard yesterday.
Ms Corby is suing Channel Seven over allegations aired on Today Tonight and supported by Ms Power, that she used and sold drugs.
Called by Ms Corby's lawyers, Melissa Jane Clarke said she had smoked marijuana with Ms Power, who made the disclosure about smuggling in 1997.
Ms Corby's sister, Schapelle, was sentenced to 20 years' jail in Bali for attempting to smuggle in 4.5 kilograms of marijuana in 2004. She claims she is innocent.
In answer to Stuart Littlemore, QC, for Mercedes Corby, Ms Clarke said Australian marijuana was "extremely different" from the Indonesian variety. The Australian variety was hydroponically grown and of a different colour and texture.
She had smoked marijuana with Ms Power but she had never seen Ms Corby take drugs in the 15 years she had known her. Ms Corby once told her she had tried marijuana as a teenager but was otherwise not involved. "It is well-known she tried it a couple of times and disliked it," she said.
Ms Clarke was the third Corby family friend to give evidence this week that Ms Corby was essentially drug-free.
Ms Clarke said she went with Ms Corby to j apan in 1994 and Ms Power joined them later. Ms Clarke lived close to Ms Corby and had not seen any drug consumption. She and Ms Power had smoked marijuana |

Because in my opinion they HAD already tested the dope - go right back to the very beginning & knew darn well all about it .............

There was a bloody hole in the bag of dope that customs put there then lied about under oath...The same customs officer also lied about the way the drugs were packed???

And while on the same subject perhaps she should have also mentioned the FACT brother james was charged with.........
He has been charged with deprivation of liberty and assault occasioning bodily harm, producing a dangerous drug, possession of a dangerous drug, and possession of items used in the commission of a crime and entering a dwelling. |
