| Firstly after many years in law enforcement, growing up in a family of law enforcement officials. I can honestly say after viewing that documentary that I am ASHAMED of being an Australia! Our country strives on our legal system "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY!"& EVERY HUMAN BEING INCLUDING SHAPELLE IS ENTITLED TO A FAIR DECENT TRIAL!! I can NOT believe Alexander Downer & Kevin Rudd stand by & watch this team of idiots crucify this innocent girl in Indonesia. Firstly the government over there is shameful' they are corrupt & do not have ONE brain cell between any of them! She did NOT get a fair trial & based on the evidence she is not guilty. They can NOT prove this girl is 100% guilty. So there for she deserves a whole new trial in Australia. AFP Should investigate all of the evidence & do more investigating for this Australian Women. Many pieces of evidence are missing and there are TOO MANY HOLES in this case!! The Brothers Need to be thoroughly investigated! I am suspicious of both the elder brother & especially James Kisina the half bro. Both their body language & statements; very suspicious & false. Why wasn’t the statement of the CRIMINOLOGIST taken into consideration? This girl has NO Motive, NO Intent or any connection to Drugs. Her Blood & urine tests were negative!!! She is NOT a drug taker or user. Marijuana stays in the body for 3-4 months once you cease using it. Her tests were completely CLEAR. She does NOT fit the PROFILE OF A DRUG SMUGGLER! Also the Qantas Baggage Handler stated when he booked her Boogie Board in at Brisbane it was of NORMAL WEIGHT!! If there was 4.5 KG Of Drugs in that Bag at the time SHE checked it in' then it would have weighed 7.5KG in total! He is an experienced Qantas Staff member he stated 'himself' he would have recognized at the time' the bag was OVER WEIGHT BUT IT WASNT!! This girl deserves a TRANSFER out of that IN HUMAN place she is being kept in like an Animal. IMMEDIATELY! The Australian Government OWE HER ATLEAST THAT! |

the corby haters don't want to acknowledge the facts
they just judge her on the fact that she comes from a "bogan" family and she is white
the don't care about actual law and justice and the holes in this case |

Why should it be held in Australia? The crime was committed in Indonesia.
Is their any legal basis for this, or is it just a rant? |

| I don't hate Corby but remove the emotion and conspiracy theories and its clear the woman or one of her siblings is guilty. The baggage handler defense put up was misguided and dishonest and in the end there was not one shred of credible evidence put up that would have cleared her name in any court in any land. She now needs to be honest about her guilt and hope for a presidential pardon, if not she will do at least 15 years. |

Mate, you are all freaking idiots.
You guys must be blind.
The whole family is guilty.
Her sister Mercedes is probably a drug seller in indonesia.
Her brother is a drug user.
Colby deserve a death sentence as far as I am concern. |

I thought Bambu was Robocop.
how`s this for a scenario...bambu intentionally gets caught with drugs in his underpants to get jailed over there...infiltrates the system, and over the next 20 years gains enough evidence to prove that she was guilty all along, but a love affair developes between him and her leading to a lovechild they call mercades and upon mutual release in 2018 they retire on the proceeds of her autobiography to live a life of luxury in bali. |

| And what happens when someone from say, Vietnam comes over here with a large quantity of drugs? We would punish him as our law states. Perhaps Vietnamese people would dispute OUR legal system and demand the criminal be let off scott-free. Would we kow-tow to THEIR demands? HELL NO we shouldn't. So I don't see any reason to be a damn hypocrite and judge them for not doing it either. |

I agree wholeheartedly with the first message paragraphs or not. Even if Shapelle is guilty, why 20 years for Marijuana? What about those with the cocaine, etc., strapped round their waists. Absolutely guilty, and some of them got the 20years, for a much worse offence. This girl is innocent. I thought somewhere out there is such a thing as Human Rights. What a laugh. I suggest we all boycott Bali and their corrupt Government. Those grinning Bali Bombers, are far better off than Shapelle. What is with our Govt. Come on Mr Rudd and all the rest of you. Bet if it was your daughter you would have her home again. What about the girl who turned to Islam to get out. What a laugh. Is she still practicing it, bet not???? She got out though. Shapelle will not stoop to such measures, and we can't pick our relatives. Am also ashamed of Australia. By the way I am a 71 year old Great grandmother. My heart bleeds for this girl.
Saddened nana

More to the point, we wouldn't listen to any suggestions from the Vietnamese government (or NGOs) that drug traffickers should be executed. |

she is entitled a retrial since her lawyers stuffed up her defence and the evidence was tampered with by the prosecution
what would u do if this happened to you
you would want a retrial |

I totally agree with the guilty verdict.
Let us all remember when you go to a country with harsh drug laws, you know the consequences.
Whether we agree or not is irrelevant.
It is what it is.
I think there are more worrying issues in our own country than to be concerned about stupid individual who think they can undermine the law of another country and get away with it. |

Well that would be fine if the evidence was NOT tampered with and she HAD a fair trial then we wouldn't have a problem
but this case has too many holes in it
the sooner the corby haters know that the better |

the reason i say corby haters is because the corby haters refuse to look at the details of the case
they would rather rant that she comes from a "bogan" family and if she looks guilty then she is guilty
and they keep denying the evidence was not tampered with
need i go on? |

That all is well and good....but... what if she IS innocent?... there is NO REAL PROOF either way!!! Is it fair for her to live (or not live) out a penalty when there's so much controversy to her case? |

| ozcharlies: I assume that you have not read the constitution of Indonesia? or any drug laws of Indonesia? consider Shapelle lucky if she wasn't executed. Do not judge this case in Australian Law, she violated the LAWS OF INDONESIA. |
