Have not heard anything about a State funeral
as yet,but hope this is at least offered to the
respective families.
Many of us go through the horrors of cancer-to ever
say you are completely free of it,would be a very
premature statement.........
Some people still think you can go to the doctor
and get a "script" & your cancer,whatever type it
may be,will just heal.Hmmm....Not so of course. |

Condolences to the McGrath Family.
The world has lost a fantastic human being, campaigner, and by all accounts, wonderful mother, wife and friend to all who knew her.
The sun will shine again for the family and every thing they worked hard at together. For any one who may be wearing similiar shoes as Jane, be kind to your self and lets not see all her messages, examples, hard work and love of all things fade away.

This clearly sick individual seems to think its funny to come on here and make himself the centre of an event which has touched so many. Janes death is tragic and those here should be allowed to reflect and grieve without this irrelevant morons hateful attitude being displayed. |

Satan...Many people have watched the McGrath family grow and have enjoyed watching Glenn play cricket...watching his lovely wife and children at games or out and about in their community. Jane McGrath was very ill, but took the time and energy to fight this disease with all her might as well as helping others in the same situation. No, most of us were never fortunate to have personally known this good woman but that does not mean that she did not in some way inspire us all. She was a down to earth person...not affected by the glamour and fame and wealth. Such people are rare indeed. Please don't offend the people who are mourning her loss and whose hearts ache for her family.
George Carlin passed yesterday...No, I did not know him personally, but I knew him through his brilliant mind and his ability to make us look at outselves and laugh...I will sorely miss his humor. Perhaps you should take a look at yourself, son...what legacy are you going to leave when you are gone? What will you contribute that will make people remember you? |

mrsron - your comments on me were uncalled for. Sure I had not heard of George Carlin, but that does not mean I am insensitive as you seem to think.
I watched the you tube link I was prompted to watch and he was a very clever man. Kindly have the courtesy next time to not 1. judge me as you don't know me and 2. not clump me together with lowlives such as satan_claws.
