| I have not said I am so offended by them. Yes I have seen them on the net, as I stated before I do not see them as porn but am not convinced of the "artistic merit" argument. I guess the public exhibition of children, and the possible (some may argue probable) implications of such concerns me. I know my teenagers and their friends, whilst not ashamed of their bodies would not like them displayed publicly without clothes for all to see |

And in some cultures and ideologies.....feel that it's time the human female form is hidden forever behind a sack and head cover, to prevent the "arousing" of males.
Please.....please....tell me that we've arrived at a point beyond that.
I know that men CAN associate with females in any stage of visible skin.....and maintain RESPECT......mothers..... I implore you to teach your sons, as I did RESPECT .....not bring you daughters up to believe that men CANNOT RESPECT.
I know it's far from a perfect world....but if all the mothers of the world do this.....we can do it! |

"my personal motherhood and views!!!! "I brought my daughter up to know and be proud of her body and her gender......when she was 8 years of age I married....and the differences in opinion were horrifically exposed.....
At development - she came running into the loungeroom one day proudly proclaiming her boobs had grown and 'dahdah'....I smiled and congratulated her.....my husband yelled foul and abusive insults at her.....and she recoiled in shame.....never to be the same again:(
Within the family was an uncle that was known for molesting the young relatives, for years, my daughter sensed this before I knew and never let herself be caught alone with him.......informing me much much later of certain situations she had escaped
However ALL the adult relatives knew and DID NOTHING incase it might upset the wife!!!! For years and years and years this man was covered up for by the adults!!!!
My daughter had the luxury (as far as I am concerned) of CHOOSING WITH KNOWLEDGE.....when she lost her virginity..
She grew up healthy with her nudity until it was polluted by another's warped thoughts....
If the decision arose and she was in agreeance then I would give permission for to pose nude for an artist....but never for a 'perverted pop star image'....
It was adult warped perversions that had the bad affect on her....the very same adults who covered for another adult and his perverted leanings
I know which mindset I prefer thankyou very much....
Children at home with their own bodies have far more protection from any perverted adults then children brought up with sexual connotations placed on that nudity...
.a mother WITH children that has a totally different pov!!!
And anyone that calls me a perverted paed lover can wake up and smell their own idiocy and perversion.....cause my daughter NEVER came under the physical reality that all those other relatives allowed.....?????
She had been taught to KNOW the difference between healthy and perverted |

Myself I think it blur's the line, safer to err on the side of caution, couldnt he have got the point across without the total nudity, even a simple piece of cloth draped over the gentials. |
