| I do wonder about the tricky situation in Burma and how our news has now gone to poor China...Last I heard on Burma was the military stop aid , aid workers, journo and all help entering into the devisted south region...so now they suffer in silence...sickening while we all complain about the budget, shesh... |

| The UN would do nothing of the sort, the UN is a toothless tiger, a gravy train for would be and never wassers from the political arenas of the countries they purport to represent. How many UN decisions have been passed that are to be observed by member countries and those countries just ignore their responsibilities because they don't suit the local politics. |

| Burma's plight and how the junta is handling the awful situation facing so many in the delta is appallingly bad. Theuy have treated the disaster with extreme callousness and I can only assume they are not willing to let the outside world see the dreadful consequences of their inactions and incompetence. Shame on the Burmese leadership. |

| I guess the good thing now is it has highlighted just how bad things are in Burma (with the junta ) and hopefully pressure and protest from those who are able will lead to them getting a fair government , and toss the current one . But I guess that is easier said than done isn't it ? |

I guess the good thing now is it has highlighted just how bad things are in Burma (with the junta ) and hopefully pressure and protest from those who are able will lead to them getting a fair government , and toss the current one . But I guess that is easier said than done isn't it ?

Without large oil deposits there to appropriate, I think you will find that there are no "willing". |
