Last year NASA chief, Michael Griffin, stated that he was not sure that it is fair to say that global warming is a problem that we must wrestle with.
He stated: "We (NASA) study global climate change, that is in our authorisation, we think we do it rather well. I'm proud of that, but NASA is not an agency chartered to, quote, battle climate change."
I think only a fool would not accept that NASA is an agency that knows a thing or two about climate change.
So what does NASA know that most of us ordinary folk don't know:
The salient facts are these. First, the accepted global average temperature statistics used by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change show that no ground-based warming has occurred since 1998. Oddly, this eight-year-long temperature stasis has occurred despite an increase over the same period of 15 parts per million (or 4 per cent) in atmospheric C02.
Second, lower atmosphere satellite-based temperature measurements, if corrected for non-greenhouse influences such as El Nino events and large volcanic eruptions, show little if any global warming since 1979, a period over which atmospheric C02 has increased by 55 ppm (17 per cent).
Third, there are strong indications from solar studies that Earth's current temperature stasis will be followed by climatic cooling over the next few decades.
The sad thing is that NASA is not there to champion arguments about climate change, according to Michael Griffin. And that's a shame... because if it did, it would put an end to this global warming con which is going to cost us a high price for a load of "hot air"! |

Funny how champions of global warming like Tim Flannery have no answer to NASA's chief, Michael Griffin.
Afterall, whatever research Tim Flannery and other pro global warming scientists come up with, it can hardly stand the test of NASA's detailed studies of world climate based on billion dollar space technology.
And the same goes for global warming guru Professor Garnaut. Who would you trust... Garnaut's research and findings or NASA's science? |

If you studied your geography at school, you'd understand the earth has constantly undergone climate change. Imagine the ice age... compare that age to now. What caused the "global warming" for the enormous climate change? Dinosaurs? Primitive man? Or do you think it was solar activity?
NASA knows the answer. In fact, all scientists know the answer... it's just that some have a vested interest in pushing global warming as a man made thing phenomum. It is not. |

| one thing about global maybe warming is that we can all see with our own eyes,melting polar caps and never has the planet undergone such a fast change in a matter of years....even if its a 50/50 chance,I would prefer to take precautions now just in case there is a big change in our weather.... to all the skeptics...what if you are wrong...whats your plan? |

global warming maybe a result of tree loping, they do undergo photosynthesis which means that trees absorb heat energy from the sun.
disturbing the natural flow of the atlantic current can cause climate change |

| you can find seashells all over inland australia, the WA mineral sands deposits are currently being explored on the old sea level wich is now the 100 metre line. Global climate change is an ongoing reality and we need to get a true panic free perspective on where we are going. While it is always good for people to be aware of atmospheric pollution and reduce outputs as much as possible, to assume that we are in some way in control of the global climate outlook is extremely foolish. |

Of course they melt - each summer. The whole thing is a major con and most western governments took that bait and have now imposed global warming taxes. They're too embarrassed to admit they were conned. Take Greenpeace. Can anyone deny they are hypocrites and sea terrorists? They have several diesel powered ships that sail the seven seas and pollute. Greens are flying around the world contributing to pollution. Especially the biggest hypocrite of them all - Al Gore. Here, it's Bob Brown who flies regularly from Tasmania to Canberra. |

Al gores wealth has been increased * by 300.
Of course even though i know global warming, im sorry i meant climate change is a con, it is still in our best interests to protect the enviroment.By not polluting it, etc etc .
Mars polar ice caps are melting too.
Who caused that, the little green martians flying around in their co'2 emitting flying saucers? |

If anybody would like to watch the global warming con being demoralised, visit PHansons website.It has yooutube vids explaining how it is a con.Explanations that even the lesss informed can understand.
Global warming, climate change happens, there is not a freaking thing we can do to stop it.We do not have the scientific knowledge just as yet.
We do have a few weather changing programs though like seeding the clouds for rain, snow etc . |

I am curious to know why we are having some of the coldest days known, and are in for the wettest winter in history ... global warming or global cooling.
Bit hard to argue with NASA. If they make information public one can be dead sure it is correct. |

The climate change at the end of the dinosaur age was caused by a meteor impact which punched a hole through the earths crust and ignited a fairly major oil deposit that left a layer of black carbon soot around the entire planet.
The last great warming was triggered by a volcanic incursion into a major siberian coal field.

We are currently in the 7th warmest year in Australian history. That we have a few months of cooler weather due to additional rainfall as a result of La Nina is to be expected. In South Australia where La Nina has little influence, they are experiencing their hottest year on record.
<Bit hard to argue with NASA. If they make information public one can be dead sure it is correct.>
NASA stating that it is not their place to be a champion of global warming is a far far cry from NASA even suggesting that it isn't real. NASA is a an exploration and data gathering org *** ation. Interpretation of the data gatheres, as they rightly said, is the provicne of other org *** ations. |

Mars polar ice caps melt every Martian year. According to NASA, there was a little additional warming due to dust storms. This is now cleared and temperatures have returned to normal. |

I amcurious to know why you believe we are in for "the wettest winter in history" when farmers are saying that they will not be able to plant the NORMAL winter crops due to lack of rain.
"A POTENTIALLY vast wheat crop that could help relieve the world's food crisis is in jeopardy due to a brutally dry autumn across the NSW grain belt."
The latest drought figures released by the State Government show 48.4 per cent of the state is in drought, up from 42.9 per cent last month. Another 23.6 per cent is marginal and 28 per cent satisfactory.

Yeah, and that's another hypothetical science thing - the meteor that caused the dinosaurs to become extinct. Why in the world didn't that meteor kill everything else off? Apparently, it splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico. But what does that have to do with the dinos that lived in Australia and other places on the planet? Sheer hokus pokus and academic fairy tale stuff. It didn't happen overnight, but they simply ate themselves out of existence. |
