Combined income should be at least $80,000.
If you're combined income is $150,000 DEFIANTELY you should not get any bonuses!!!! Even people earning combined $100,000 is living a luxury life, and PLEASE DON'T TELL ME YOU HAVE A MORTGAGE!!!!

| Some people with a combined income just over that may have huge mortgages and are just making repayments. Try living/buying close to the city and having teenagers. Do you have any idea that we are paying around $60000 of that in tax, for someone else's baby bonus now. If we work hard and we pay so much more in tax, why should we not benefit? |

Its your choice to live there. If you earn good money you already can have some of the good stuff in life and don't need welfare.
Welfare is a safety net for the needy not pocket money for everyone in the country. |

nessa - agree in a way but with living costs going up it ain't that easy for the ppl on $40-50K (couples earning $80-100K) either especially if they go onto ONE income. cos nuffing elses cuts in half!
and there is no way you can save that sort of money especially with mortgages,rent,fuel,food etc..... going up not down |

Fair enough kinger but even those earning $190 grand are getting a tax cut of some discription.
The country cannot afford to give EveryOne more money. Simple as that. Personally I am happy that my tax keeps people from starving to death and able to go to hospitals. |

My wife and mine combined household income is under $150,000 and we live pretty comfortably. No complaints at all.
Anyone who is struggling on $150k per annum is obviously living beyond their means... which is an affliction for people in many wage brackets. It doesn't matter how much you earn, you can always live beyond your means.
It's called having champagne tastes on a beer income. |
