So, Ive just spent the past 15 minutes or so trying to sign into my Yahoo account. This is strange, since I already WAS signed in, but when I went to check my email, it asked me for my password.
When I entered it, it told me I had the wrong password and wouldnt let me in. I tried to enter it a few more times and it wouldnt work, so then I tried to change my password. But when I went to the page where you have to enter all your personal details, it kept telling me that I hadnt entered my details at all.
And then, just then, it started to work again. I didnt change my password (although I think I will now), and I can log in again.
Anyone had this problem before? It sounds like a Yahoo glitch and it's a MAJOR pain in the a.rse when you're waiting on an important email. |

I just got off the phone to Y7 (man that took some time, to actually get to speak to a person! ). I thought my business account had been hacked and my password changed! I was ready to call my barrister and an IT company and go crazy.......
But I spoke to a real nice guy on the phone at Y7 and he said it was a minor server prob and should be all good shortly....phew!!!!!!!!!
PS, Y7.....It would be nice to have a number we could call direct to rectify these issues, without having to go thru 4 different switchboards, etc etc. |

| Hi, I have that problem too, since last night.Obviously this isnt my real email.I made it just now cause I want to try to get some tech help. I have emailed yahoo who referred me to a technician chat but that was only for yahoo addy's thru aT & t in the states (I'm in Australia).I tried to change the password but it locked me (despite answering all the secret questions) saying too many attempts had been made at the password.I know Im using the correct password and the account is about 9 years old.Cold i possibly have that telephone number please cause I tried the one listed in the telstra book but its a recorded message saying there is no phone support for yahoo here. Would greatly appreciate your help.Its not an account people wold want to hack cause its just mine.I run no business or even have real interesting mail . THANKS AGAIN |

| Ok, I got my email address back after quite a few email sessions with yahoo.Now, however it only opens on a www.cn.yahoo page which is in chinese font . The mail inside is still in english.Any new help on how to get it to reopen using yahoo.com or at least yahoo.com.au |

cant help, but it seems yahoo is havin lotsa server-side problems right now, but will not admit to anything
I keep having dropout problems, have done for several weeks, several accounts (even this one this morning) many different locations, many different computers.
i use yahoo for serious communication, as well as chat or newsboards, and NOTHING has come out, not even a single 'sorry'
many other users have been reporting the same problems
i am sure the mods here know, but all they care about is makin sure we dont say 5h!t or F@cX |
