Re:Channel 7 HD Reply to this message
This HDTV thing is a fecking RORT from go to whoa. A succession of blatantly incompetent Comms Ministers, starting with the arch-Luddite Richard Alston, have, and continuing with Steven Conjob, MUST be in bed with scumbags like Packer, Murdoch etc. NONE of these cants should have been allowed to have ANY stake in the 'new' channels, we will (and have) get NOTHING but the same old tired Seppo rubbish that we get now, except we get to watch it on 15 channels instead of five.

Where is the history channel? Where is Nat Geo? Where is at least two dedicated movie channels? WHY a dedicated sport channel? FECK sport, if it ain't motorsport, I ain't interested.

The whole thing REEKS of incompetence, greed, and vested interests. Oh, and if we are going to be FORCED to go digital, this cant of a 'government' should be FORCED to supply EVERY home with an HDTV set-top box for FREE.

Yet another situation where the ba$tards who should have NO say whatsoever get ALL the say. These muthafeckers should be dragged out into Martin Place during the lunch-hour, and SHOT!

WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!

from what i just read it starts on the 1st November..im pretty sure it will work like GO does to WIN,playing repeated shows on a later time slot...

however not all areas will get the new channel, only the major cities so far...not happy about that at all...

Re:Channel 7 HD Reply to this message
As opposed to LOSING customers to Foxtel/Austar, because they WON'T air decent shows?

Because this is what's happening.
