Adblock Plus 1.1.1

https://addons.mozilla.or g/en-US/firefox/addon/186 5

Ever been annoyed by, Banner Ads and Flash Player Advertisments on websites that often take longer to download than everything else on the webpage? Are you aware these Advertisments also use up and contribute to your monthly broadband usage limits? leaving You less time to surf the web.

WELL..... GOOD NEWS...... NOW YOU CAN BLOCK THEM ALL... NO MORE ADS..
Mozilla firefox has released an Add on for firefox web browsers Which will block 99% of website and internet advertising with such ease. it is a great feeling surfing the web again an never seeing an advertisment again :) it makes me so very happy :) no more annoying intrusive advertising Also my internet limit is not as high as it used to be

Adblock Plus 1.1.1 ....Addon For firefox web browsers @

https://addons.mozilla.or g/en-US/firefox/addon/186 5

I highly recommend this Add on for firefox users as it does whats its supposed to do with such ease BLOCKS WEBSITE ADS.
Ive been using it now for a few days and i love it. a must have Add on for frefox.

Re:4 Mozilla Firefox Users Reply to this message
It already blocks my pop-ups so if it blocks those pesky ones here that make your page slide down, that's good;

Got an alert this morning, a trojan horse tried to get into my Mozilla Firefox setup but my anti-virus cut it off at the pass [thank heavens for AVG]

Re:4 Mozilla Firefox Users Reply to this message
About a month ago, I got a firefox add-on that was 'imcompatible', or had a virus, (can't remember clearly, think it was the latter), and I had to uninstall that add-on. :)

Re:4 Mozilla Firefox Users Reply to this message
The problem is, which was the same as firefox, is getting the system to kick start, once you start cruising around it's OK, but to get it working the first time is the problem.

Come to think about it, is it the providers problem? or is it Telstras land line. I know that if I turn my modem off when things slow, then when I turn it on again to make a new connection things work fine for a bit

Re:4 Mozilla Firefox Users Reply to this message
Hah, just found the problem, it's AVG
What bulldoost says here about AVG checking everything and slowing the process is right.

Re:4 Mozilla Firefox Users Reply to this message
This morning I got a message to ask if I wanted to upgrade to latest Firefox, haven't done that yet. I am bitterly disappointed with this browser lately, as I used to love it. Am having the same problems as everyone else. Half the time it won't start, once it does, it is fine. I refuse to go back to using IE, I hate it with a passion.

How do I uninstall the ad ons, please, if I have any that is.

LOL Dont be lazy !! Try the mozilla web-site or just use the FF Help.

Anyways, to uninstall add-ons: In FF, go Tools, Add-Ons, Extensions, click the add-on and should offer you an uninstall option.

Re:4 Mozilla Firefox Users Reply to this message
Ok, my patience is wearing thin with firefox now. Last night my browser closed on its own, and when I reopened it all my bookmarks had gone and my entire history.

I've checked my settings and I've selected 'remember history' but I still can't set bookmarks and it's still not remembering my history.

It's freaking annoying having to type in the URL for every site I want to go to!
