Yes it is, download a program called Moyea Youtube FLV downloader

This is quite good as well. Has lots of other features that you can download as needed. Used for about a year with no probs.

I've managed to download a few things with Moyea, but it doesn't seem to work all the time. Can't remeber what the other 'YouTube FLV' downloader program was called that I had previously, but it was similarly unreliable. Hopefully a decent YouTube downloader will come along in the not to distant future.

Have a look at dvdvideosoft Bigshot you should find it quite good. Has lots of other small programs (extracting audio from video, converting video for iPods etc) that you can download as you need.

Thanks for all the help. Ended up using one called E.M. Youtube Video Download tool which was free and worked like a dream.

I use RealPlayer 11.

It has a good video-grabber built into it.

Works well.
