Hi there
my bf just got wireless internet for his laptop, he is a courier and wants to have the net while he is on the road. He only wants to surf the web, send emails and use Yahoo messanger. What wireless internet provider be the best to look at? we don't mind doing the comparing ourselve's its just i don't know what is a good wireless server.... thanks |

| Telstra has by far and away the best coverage and you pay for that too. Optus, Vodafone and 3 I think are all offering 5gb download at $39 a month on 2 year contract with modem chucked in. Hard to beat but may not cover where your man is going to be. |

| Y'know we moved to wireless and because of all the security checks your computer has to do in order to send and recieve (WPA etc) it slowed down our internet speed considerably, so now we're actually plugged back in, only use the wireless when we need to move |

mmm this is interesting anyone else feel wirless uses or loses to much speed because of the security..
and I would suggest to go with plans that slow speed down when you use over your limit than to pay extra. know many that have fallen into that trap and recieve very high bills.. |
