I can log in, check email and navigate between threads with no problems.
But when I go the post a reply to a topic or make a new topic, it takes FOREVER for the reply page to load, when usually it just pops up in the blink of an eye.
Like I said, every other page on the internet that I visit loads at it's normal speed with no problems, except for this one.
Ive tried clearing my history and doing a DNS Flush (and then reset my computer), but still no improvement. This has been a problem since late yesterday.
Is Yahoo having problems, or is it something at my end? Anything else I could try?
Thanks heaps! |

| Strange, no problem with mine, sometimes if the topic is busy then it's slow. |

Nah. The business of the thread doesnt seem to make much of a different. It's doing it for all of them.
Are you there mods? Any ideas? |

| Happened to me a few (or so ) days ago. Then it just started working right again. I did notice tho the page would flick a 'bad url' message in the address occasionally while it was happening |

When things slow down for me I always run CC Cleaner and it removes a bunch of stuff I don't really need.
Seems to work every time. |

I run one Win doze unit, 20 Linux and BSD computers, and also have a dozen Macs.
Only one that needs the 6 extra protection programs, and about two hours of maintenance each week, is the Win doze unit. Pain in the a rse !
I build and donate 100 systems per year, all running Linux, since 1997.
BUT, most slowdowns are due to server traffic, NOT the user's computer system! |
