he has done fkn nothing, and I read in todays paper they are looking at taking medicine rebates off the PBS.
Which means peoples prescriptions will rise if they cjoose anything other than the cheapest brand.
all rebates will be based on lowest cost medicine.
IE
A costs $10
B costs $10
However if A gets a $5 subsidy, and B gets a $3 subsidy A will now cost $12.
I am sure plenty of aussies will be rejoicing over this and having to possibly pay more for the same.

Even the ALP acknowledge rates are at "emergency" levels and have NOTHING to do with K'Rudd.
And though that might be a good thing for home buyers, try telling the retirees who not only have frozen investments, but have had to renew their term deposits at around 2% or 3%.
If you want to look at history, come back to me when you work out the average interest rate under both labor and liberal.

Howard tried to scare voters by claiming that interest rates would be lower under him than Rudd - and he was WRONG!

1. Who sent troops to Afghanistan in the first place...then abandoned it to chase shadows in Iraq...a monumental f@ck up by the coalition of the willing???
2. John Howard spent billions propping up the private sector at the expence of the public system...shifting the burden onto low income earners with tax payers paying for the private health premiums of the rich!!!
3. Ratifying Kyoto was an election promise...something Malcolm Turnbull says John Howard was wrong on and that he should have ratified Kyoto!!!
4. Now the Liberal party are against an E.T.S...Despite the fact they went to the last election promoting the idea themselves...the Liberal party are so divided on this issue they cannot support any position on climate change...they are a mess on climate change!!!
5. The stimulus has been given the credit for keeping Australia out of recession and saving thousands of jobs by most recognized economists...Howards 20 billion surplus never materialized...the forward estimates were revised to register a defecit due to loss in revenue...a fact the Liberal party do not want to accept!!!
6. Workchoices would have further divided the rich and the poor in this country...lucky for Australian's Howard was not able to complete his total destruction of the Australian labour market!!!
7. To little to late just the same...you would think after 11 years of revenue pooring in from the mining boom Howard would have found a few dollars for pensioners...what did Howard do for pensioners???
8. Saying sorry to indiginous Australian's...removing TPV's from genuine refugees...ending the Pathetic solution that charged refugees for their detention...remember the coalition were divided on asylum seekers...some Liberal MPs were threatening to cross the floor over their harsh treatment...how on earth do the Liberal faithfull expect to resurect the Pacific solution when members of their own party oppose the policy...they are full of cr@p over the issue??? |
