China, India, Brazil and Mexico Reply to this message
New research has found that developing countries including China, India, Brazil and Mexico are on track to cut their greenhouse gas emissions by 25 per cent by 2020.

The study commissioned by the German government is the first major assessment that quantifies the progress of developing nations' efforts to cut emissions.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/11/07/2736 241.htm

"We know China have got aggressive plans to improve energy efficiency and promote renewable energy, India are putting in plans and legislation, [and] we're seeing emissions trading systems emerge in Mexico and South Korea," the Climate Institute's Erwin Jackson said.

Mr Jackson says the report suggests the developed world, as a group, needs to do some catching-up.

"The major economies in the developing world are moving ahead with aggressive policies and, with international support through financing, they can do a lot more," he said.

"What this report shows is the developing world condition for Australia's 25 per cent target - it looks on track to being met.

So how will Australia achieve a 25% CO2 reduction by 2020 when the old parties :

don't want coal pollution to drop until 2031
want to leave agriculture out
and are knee capping renewable energy

So Lab and Lib supporters, How?

Does this report tap new levels of spin?

Brazil!

World leaders in deforestation!

What is the policy change in this regard?

India and Mexico!

India, after Africa, is the leading driver towards the global population now increasing by 1,000,000,000 (800,000,000 of these destined to live in abject poverty), in the next 12 years....and compounding thereafter.

And Mexico's solution to their exploding population.....just send them over the border into the USA.

China...although I'm yet to see the detail.....may be the exception.

You must have missed my mention of China.

Or have I made the Chinese honorary "Aryans"......

And just a word about the mythical "Aryans", and their invention by Adolf Hitler, adored by the Leftists of exceptionally looney disposition.....thus especially included for buz?

One of the most interesting puzzles in archaeology, and one that hasn't been completely solved yet, concerns the story of the supposed Aryan invasion of the Indian subcontinent. The story goes like this: The Aryans were a tribe of Indo-European-speaking, horse-riding nomads living in the arid steppes of Eurasia. Sometime around 1700 BC, the Aryans invaded the ancient urban civilizations of the Indus Valley, and destroyed that culture.

Somehow, they must have been subject to some serious morphing.

Oh...

And just to depart from my policy of issue comment only, and not individual posters personally.....please refer to past comment re my two lifelong friends, who, with me, I refer to as the BIG THREE.

Do I need to mention their background again?

And we're off to lunch today .....to again discuss world affairs.

Good to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. China is a great country in international matters. Other countries, in particular developed countries, should follow.

China and Australia are countries with good friendship. In my view, in international matters between Aust and other countries, Chinese in particular Chinese students generally are in support of Australia. For international matters between China and Aust, Chinese students generally will comment fairly aiming for a reasonable solution fair to both sides.
