Barnaby Joyce on Alan Jones today!!!

http://www.2gb.com/index.php?option=com_homepage&i d=1&Itemid=44

This is really taking things forward.

The Lavoisier are right behind him.

He still believes it can be defeated as long as the Senate stays tight.

Barnaby and the Lavoisier are calling for an Election based on this issue!!!

As long as the Senate stays tight!!!

Write a letter to all the Senators in your State, saying you back them on defeating the CPRS..

ITS STILL POSSIBLE !!!!

DON'T GIVE UP!!!

A step at a time.....

But you have to get your voice heard by the pollys

A couple of things Alan Jones has found out...

The Climate body is going to be called:

THE AUSTRALIAN CLIMATE CHANGE AUTHORITY.

#######

HE SAYS THEY CAN FIND YOU TO TAX YOU IF YOU DON'T HAVE A JOB, ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD....EVEN IF YOUR SITTING IN YOUR RUBBER DINGY OUT AT SEA

HE SAYS HE'S READ SOME OF IT AND ITS PUNITIVE AND DRACONIAN!!!!

I don't know if its available on line!!!

The other thing the Lavoisier Group have published a new book. The first part of the title is

Back to the 19th Century:

I missed the rest!!!

puttock :)
if I believe Barnaby Joyce intentions were good I would listen to him , and more so.
However I dont trust him. He has no balance or connection with the enviroment whatsoever that I have seen.

So my point being I wished more people I respected were talking this up if this is a big concern....hope you understand my meaning.

Sometimes its not the 'right people' voicing, How can you suddenly believe someone that you have never had faith in...alan jones being another in my book ....

Vegi,

I know what you mean about the people I put up these days......alan jones, janet albrechtson, andrew bolt!!!

But.......

When the left are just practising *stopping thoughts* by left I mean labor party......

and

When Kevin Rudd is stopping outside information getting to his backbench and Senators....

This is something different!!!!

Its 1984, ie like the book!!!

They are taking over......and they don't appear to be nice guys!!!

So, in times like these, one can't go into denial and pretend it isn't happening...

because, unless its a world wide hoax........

It is happening!!!

Copenhagen is going to take away your freedom and leave you with nothing!!!

You have to go with the only people who are going to resist!!!

You might think it is something the Liberals have cooked up to get back into power, but, the thing is it has been going on for yonks!!!

By yonks, I've known about it since about 1975!!!

corky,
It is long!

Firstly, I would say that the ETS is primarily a taxation measure.

Let me provide another perspective?

The picture, right at the front of the horse & 19th century agriculture is obviously there to convey a message.

But, what I would ask is, where will humanity be in 2100, if we simply continue with the status quo on -
Population Growth
Oil Usage Growth
Water Usage Growth

Will that picture of the horse & agriculture be changed?

Re:Barnaby Joyce on Alan Jones: Listen! Reply to this message
perceptions, we MUST do something to protect the environment. However, I think that dismissing the views of those who oppose the current "so-called solutions", is a step backwards. I see that Bob Hawke has called for a summit on Climate Change, but I think that would again just be people pushing their own agendas. I can't see that carbon taxes which do not lessen greenhouse gases, or "world authorities" doing a Robin Hood act are going to help anything, except put more money in the hands of corrupt governments. The whole thing needs a lot more honest and open discussion and work.

Give me a break, I had my backside shot of in Vietnam fighting for what I thought was a threat to our freedom, in as much as it is a paradox, you sign away the very thing you are fighting for, there are to many educated young people around in countries all over the world to let a few temporary politicians take away and disrespect what their old soldiers have fought and died for.

The link fails - no permission to this resource.

If anyone want s to listen to this bunk just go to podcasts and find the Barnaby Joice interview.

More than the first half is just AJ waffling on,

AJ rehashed his dribble and BJ just nodded his head.

Kevin Rudd is in your alarm clock, in your fridge, and in the shopping trolly but not in Fiji - well at least they got him out from under the bed.

I rather like BJ at least he will stand up for what he believes (or try too) but I do not think that sitting on uncle Alans knee is a good look.

I do not really know who is right or wrong on this but AJ foaming at the mouth and unbalance is not overly convincing to me.

Re:Barnaby Joyce on Alan Jones: Listen! Reply to this message
we will never have an open and frank discussion on this or any other subject while we have an egotistical, control freak at the helm, He went to the election stating what was then a panic policy of catastrophic proportions and since then the truth has been trickling out much to his annoyance. It is about MONEY and Control not CO2. A new report apparently spanning 20 years has stated that heat lost to space has been constant over that period of time but if you listen to the doom sayers it has been getting less. So who is right, the scientist has has been studying the facts or those who stand to lose the most, should no agreement be reached.

Clever cassie, there will ALWAYS be a "however" or "But" while these clowns persist in their half baked ideas, like creating a carbon tax that will cost every one of us, but will do NOTHING for the environment.

Re:Barnaby Joyce on Alan Jones: Listen! Reply to this message
Barnaby Joyce was annointed by Ray Evan's as the only Conservative Leader who would stand up and do anything, in the ABC RN Counterpoint program ON AUGUST 8TH , 2009. I THINK. A VERY GOOD PROGRAM.
Podcast or read transcript.

It lead me to believe Ray Evan's was a bit more sophisticated than he turns out to be, in the Back to the 19th Century pamphlet.

If you listened to Alan Jones with Malcolm Turnbull, Turnbull just does not get it from a common man point of view, he thinks about it totally from the Bank, Big Business perspective.

So Ray Evan's looking around could only see Barnaby Joyce with any appeal across the Board to Australians.

But, They are not good enough. They are all just so out of touch with the whole program that has been taught for 2 generations.

It needs some of todays people to change their minds.

THE AUSTRALIAN CLIMATE CHANGE AUTHORITY.
Not Orwellian enough.
I think it is titled "The Australian Climate Change Regulatory Authority
Usual acronym ACCRA.
Functions: To administer the CPRS otherwise unknown
Read the ACCRA Bill 2009 and if you are any the wiser, let me know.

Flannery8s hope: a global treaty to influence your every move

Andrew Bolt
Friday, October 30, 2009 at 07:14pm

To be honest, I thought and said Christopher Monckton was exaggerating a bit in claiming the the United Nation’s Copenhagen meeting on global warming would negotiate the creation of a new world government:

At Copenhagen, this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed...I read that treaty. And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created. The word *government* actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfication of what is called, coyly, *climate debt* because we*ve been burning CO2 and they haven*t.

But now Alarmist of the Year Tim Flannery, on yet another gassy overseas junket, suggests this is indeed the intention and his most fervent hope for these talks:

We think of them as being concerned with some sort of environmental treaty. That is far from the case. The negotiations now ongoing toward the Copenhagen agreement are in effect diplomacy at the most profound global level. They deal with every aspect of our life and they will infuence every aspect of our life, our economy, our society.

How Greenpeace, WWF and other NGOs dream of a new world governing body, with a colossal budget of its own.

No, really. Just check the draft Copenhagen treaty they’ve prepared:

To avoid dangerous climate change and build climate resilience, the way society is structured will need to change fundamentally – from investment patterns to development programs. This cannot be accomplished by the fragmented set of existing institutions.

In order to enhance the implementation of the Convention in accordance with the Bali Action Plan and its four building blocks, a new institution, the Copenhagen Climate Facility ( CCF ), is needed.

2. The Facility shall enjoy such legal capacity as is necessary for the exercise of its functions… The Facility shall have:

a ) an Executive Committee, as the supreme body of the Facility, to supervise and monitor the implementation of operational policies, guidelines and administrative arrangements, including the disbursement of resources…

b ) At least four Boards to assist Parties in fulfilling their actions, aims, objectives and commitments… The Boards shall have decision-making power, including the allocation of funding and other support,.. The Executive Committee may only review decisions of a Board in cases where the Board has exceeded its mandated functions pursuant to this Article
