I guess that's what happens when you watch a Sarah Palin press conference and she rambles on and on and on and says nothing at all. She'd drive anyone round the bend!
As for Bush "winning" 2 terms? I guess all those Supreme Court challenges over hanging chards were a myth?
The History books - accurately shows that Bush "won" that election because of his mates in Florida challenging the re-count of the disputed ballot papers!
If he clearly won that election fair and square - why oh why did the Repukes go to the Supreme Court to stop the recount of those votes???
Yep the History books have the final say on the last 3 Presidential elections;-
1. George W Bush "won" the 2000 election after the Supreme Court voted in his favour - NOT because he received the most votes like every other President did before him!
2. George W Bush "won" the 2004 election after the Repukes staged the most disgraceful dirty smear campaign against John Kerry! I betchya the words "cut and run", "quitter" or "flip-flop" won't be used by the Repukes if their No. 1 crazy lady Palin runs in the future!
3. Barrack Obama won the 2008 election - IN A LANSLIDE - despite the Repukes once again staging a disgraceful dirty smear campaign against him and the Democrats!
What part of "he is a muslim and therefore a terrorist" or "he pals around with terrorists" constitutes a FAIR election campaign by the Repukes???
And BTW - wasn't it fitting to watch Obama's inauguration and seeing George W Bush sit there like he had just sucked a lemon??? And the crowd were very polite towards him - only a few hundred thousand boos and hisses and a delightful chant of "na na na na hey hey goodbye!"
I'm guessing many of them wanted to throw their shoes at the b@stard but it was just too cold!
And despite the very gracious speech from the senile McCain- you just knew that Palin had a colossal tanty backstage demanding she give a consolation speech too! |

How on earth is that a landslide.
By the way he won only one state in the Southland (North Carolina by only 0.1%), all of the others going to McCain.
He failed to even get 34% in Alabama.

Mondale - 1 state
Electoral votes
Reagan - 525
Mondale - 13

Obama won more votes than any American in history.
In his FIRST election.
To compare it to Reagans SECOND election as an incumbent president is not being honest.
To put things in perspective ;
Reagan in 1984 23.09 percent.
Obama in 2008 22.62 percent.

Seems the biggest winners out of the Palin fiasco are the comedy writers - anyone notice how difficult it's been making fun of Obama? McCain and Palin - pure comedy gold!

And of course - Levi Johnston!
What a great guy! At 18 he went to church and listened to the priest educate him and his girlfriend all about "abstinence" and then the 2 promptly went whoopee!!!
Once word got out that the aspiring VP couldn't control get her own daughter to keep her panties on - they trotted the happy couple up on the stage and the Repuke supporters gave them a STANDING OVATION!!!
The bets were on whether this marriage would last longer than any of Britney Spears ones - but barely weeks after McCain lost - he was outta the house and racking up the frequent flyers by appearing on every talk show - and *** GING OFF PALIN!
The moral of the story? If you are a horny young man - make sure the girls you get up the duff have rich and powerful parents! KACHING!!!
