Breaking news!
It's been reported that former PM John Howard gave special favours to billionaire Chinese businessman in return for A$1m in donations to the coalition party.
"This is definitely not the same as what Rudd has done with his car dealer mate", said Mr Howard.
"I only give special treatment to people who are prepared to pay me big! I wouldn't have settled for a rusty ute. I's A$1m in unmarked bills or you get nothing!"
Liberal Party officials responded by avoiding the issue, saying they didn't recall and then telling reporters that Jeff Goldblum is dead. |

Then why Hasn't he donated this money yet ;
A boy's $500,000 aid for orang-utans
SIX months ago Daniel Clarke's desire to save the endangered orang-utans of Borneo and Sumatra and John Howard's desire for re-election melded perfectly.
Daniel, 11, who has cerebral palsy, appealed to the then prime minister for help when they met during a visit to the national rugby union team's rooms in May last year.
"John Howard personally promised me that the money would go to an Australian NGO, and we got a letter from Malcolm Turnbull saying the money would go to the AOP," Mr Gilding said.
"The letter did not mention that the funding depended on the government's re-election |

veg from memory you have brought this up before..and I seem to remember it came up after the election and it was put in Rudds basket.PM dont usually promise their own money when they are out and about..and half a million isnt to be sneezed at. get real.
Mr Rudd has just promised $1.5. million to the Italian earthquake....do you think we should expect him to pay that out of his own pocket?????
he is a millionaire after all.
oh and promising hundreds of houses to the aboriginies before the election wasnt b uying votes either was it...especially as not one has been built and no sign of one being built...now he is promising $200 million to a WA group. to do with as they please...oh my goodness such a Big heart...wonder where hes borrowing that lot from.$201.5.million in 2 days.. |

Nana, Rudd went to the poeple of australia and promised many things, one of which was a pension increase. You got one - stop whining. |

Remember when John Howard promised his blowjob buddy Bush he'd sent thousands of our troops to fight Saddam Hussein?
He did so because Bush promised him a shiny medal in return.
Yep - the Iraq War which has cost us BILLIONS and the deaths and injuries of MILLIONS (mostly innocent Iraqi women and children) - all for a shiny medal!
Bush didn't have it all his own way though. Our man of steel demanded that he stay in a 105 room mansion near the White House before he received his McHappy meal toy.
And of course he requested that noone else was allowed to be in the mansion at the same time - ESPECIALLY BLACKS! |

Its just the same old story, pollies have always given special treatment to donors and friends. That is why the utegate issue was so stupid. It just draws attention to how business is done in the big world away from message boards and lonely dark rooms where most of the wannabes post from.
The only people who were going to be offended by a small thing such as utegate were always going to be the simpltons with anxiety issues. Hundreds of millions, maybe billions have been wasted by the previous govt on favours to mates and I have no doubt this govt will be doing the same when it hits its straps.
We all know its wrong but all thinking people knows it happens over and over again and to point the finger at one govt over another is just plain retarded and shows a lack of political and business knowledge :o) |
