and the ONE thing that could push Swan and Rudd to answer a straight question is a Judicial Inquiry....
Judicial Inquiry....the one place Swan and Rudd could not lie or use weasel words
Judicial Inquiry....the one place Rudd and Swan would HAVE to given evidence under oath
Rudd and Swan ran a million miles away from the Judicial Inquiry
Rudd and Swan did not want a Judicial Inquiry
Rudd and Swan voted against a Judicial Inquiry
Until Rudd and Swan face a Judicial Inquiry...they will never be accountable for their actions

They told the PM to resign based on its authenticity and admitted there was no case against the PM when the email was identified as being a fake.
Gretch referenced the email to connect the PM's office with Ozcar, the senate evidence against the PM's office was dead with a false email.
Do you really believe that they would have asked the PM to resign over this email if they knew it it was not genuine or that they would have with no reason at all?
Of course they believed it was real.

ALL evidence submitted to the Senate is done so under oath...just like a court
there are penalties for telling fibs to the Senate inquiry
therefore it is reasonable to assume these facts are accurate
the fake email was NEVER submitted to the Senate

they never ask Rudd to resign over "the email"
ONLY on the evidence that was submitted to the Senate under oath
there were many emails submitted but the "fake email" was never submitted
(1) Turnbull asked Rudd & Swan to respond to ALL evidence submitted to the Senate...ALL evidence in the Senate
(2) Rudd says Turnbull based his accusation based on the fake email...hang on....Turnbull just said "based on the Senate evidence"...was the fake email ever submitted to the Senate?....NO!...so why is Rudd diverting people's attention away from the Senate evidence to this fake email?

It would be very surprising to me if the AFP do not have a lot more than that. Once located a full trace would be possible, they should know things like which mail servers passed it, which user account sent it and who forwarded it and where too. This would include that if it were spoofed the originating IP address and ISP or corporate network involved.
I would think if trying to be anonomous you may try something like finding an open wireless internet connection (do it as someone else) log into a unix service with open mail ports and an anonomous account in an overseas location and then manually spoof the email via a third email server with open mail relay (not listed on a blacklist) and use a cheap internet computer which can be thrown away.
I suspect that in this case it is someones home or work computer maybe even the obvious and they are dead meat.
