Glad you could make it macca. Are you ready to answer the question yet?

"at least the AFP admits that it was Rudd that spread this rumour" - by macca.

So where did they admit that?

Abbott's star on rise as Coalition fortunes plummet.

Attention has begun to focus on what would happen after the next election, in the event the Coalition loses. The conservatives indicated they would back Mr Abbott against Mr Hockey, a leading moderate, in any post-election leadership ballot.

Last night, the AFP refused to confirm that Mr Turnbull had been formally cleared of any criminal misconduct.
The police chief's comments followed government accusations that Mr Turnbull was "intimately involved" in the matter.

No YOU said it, and I quote,

"at least the AFP admits that it was Rudd that spread this rumour"

Now be a man and either back it up or retract.

You know what? The comment followed the declaration of independance and the magna carta too. You want to tie these in as well?

Re:Rudd's sooky la la Reply to this message
AFP chief Mick Keelty confirmed Mr Turnbull had been interviewed in relation to the fake email, which is the subject of a criminal investigation. But he appeared to clear Mr Turnbull of any criminal wrongdoing. "Our interaction with Mr Turnbull, as far as this matter goes, is complete," Mr Keelty said.

.
.

The police chief's comments followed government accusations that Mr Turnbull was "intimately involved" in the matter.
=====

is the investigation ongoing?...NO

therefore Rudd's accusation that Turnbull was "intimately involved" is baseless...

a rumour/smear by Rudd
