work for the dole is not meant to find you a job. it's just a program to get the unemployed doing something for part of the week instead of sleeping in and feeling sorry for themselves. and don't expect the labor govt to get rid of the pathetic job networks, kevin wouldn't want his mrs to get off her gravy train.

Yes but from the feedback I have got, the people on the dole don't actually do anything because the parasites running those scams cut costs on anything they can so they can make a bigger profit for themselves :( |

WFTD participancts do NOT get farmed out to businesses so the can 'maximise profit'.
Work for the Dole is about helping job seekers improve their employment prospects by providing opportunities for work experience. Communities are involving job seekers in local projects providing facilities and services of value to the community.
Work for the Dole placements cover a wide range of activities, such as heritage and/or history, the environment, community care, tourism, sport, providing community services and restoring and maintaining community services and facilities.
Work for the Dole services are managed by Community Work Coordinators and delivered through community or government org *** ations or agencies such as local government and community groups. Community Work Coordinators refer and support job seekers in their Work for Dole activities.
