Husband and wife are shopping when the man picks up a crate of Tooheys
And sticks them into the trolley.
'What do you think you're doing?' asks the wife 'They're on offer,
Only $30 for 24 cans', he says.
'Put them back. We can't afford it,' says the wife and they carry on
Shopping........
A few aisles later the woman picks up a $60 jar of face cream and

| There are people who will buy ambergris. If you google ambergris and contact the companies in france and new zealand you will probably get on the right track. Forget about getting squillions though. You can hope in this country to get about $5 a gram. It must be dry, grey/white and a complete piece. Dont break off a piece and send away to Italy or Dubai. Thats how they get their supply! The best test is the hot needle test. Have your solicitor make up a letter of release when you sell it and give the person this when money changes hands, legally absolving you of whatever happens after you give it away. The purchasers like to maintain this air of mystique about ambergris despite its legal amiguiity to keep you off kilter. Just hand in there, get them bidding against each other and get the best price you can. Good luck! |

| There's a book by Paul Jennings about a kid who finds a big lump of Ambegris on the beach whilst he's searching for a shipwreck. Makes a fortune selling it to perfume manufacturers. |

| hi joanne... i have a kilo (in 2 different sizes)of ambergris which has been lagally attained. I have contacted Parks and wildlife and customs and have the all clear from these agencys to sell in australia..if you can be of any help i would be greatly appreciative of this. |
