| Hi I am an old guns n roses fan. I bought their first album when it came out. Are there any GnR fans that wish they would re unite and what would it be like and how big it would be? |

| Kinda wished and hoped for ages, but now I don't know if axl would be mentally strong enough to cope. Guy went seriously negative on Slash for a while. |

Velvet Revolver yes, and they rock.
Axl is still going with "GnR" and they released an album last year - Chinese Democracy. Not bad either. |

I doubt they will ever record or tour as the original line up. Maybe a one-off charity/aid thing but nothing else. I'd steer clear of the current line up, seen them live in Melbourne and they were absolute cr@p.

| can you imagine : izzy, steve adler, slash, duff, axl back on stage. its a shame because this band was absolutely awesome. I read Izzy say that when steve adler went Izzy didnt like playing with them anymore. what a shame. |

Was anyone here at their one off concert at the Horden Pavillion in Sydney in April or May 1988?
It was their only Australian date and from memory there was no support act.
I think it was limited to 800 tickets which were all giveaways.
I know when I was handed the tickets I'd never heard of them nor had anyone else I knew. I think Sweet Child O Mine was released here a month or two later.
They played again at the Horden in about December of that year as part of a national tour.
I've never met anyone else that was at that first one off one. |
