Childcare worker faces court on biting charge
A childcare worker has appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on assault charges.
It is alleged 39-year-old Archa Inprom bit a baby on the face at an ABC Learning Centre at Indooroopilly in Brisbane's west last month.
She has been accused of assault occasioning bodily harm and common assault.
Inprom was granted bail on her own undertaking and remanded to a further court appearance in a fortnight

It is understood Inprom had a blue card - the Queensland authority to work with children - and is a fully accredited childcare worker.
- Does not sound Macedonian. |

I have a QLD blue card to work with kids, I applied for one to work with adults as a tutor but was given one to include kids as well. Wasn't hard to get, just filled out the forms and had it in a couple of weeks. Obviously they would do a criminal record check but that would be it.
I don't know what else they could do if you were a first time offender. |

Could you imgine the outcry, the calls for castration, torture, mutilation, life imprisonment if a man did something like this?
In all sincerity, I do believe that for too many people, this is more of a petty point scoring game than a concern for the well being of kids or anyone else. |
