| How is it that the protected national Parks are heavily logged or clear-felled with the co-operation and approval of the departments that are meant to protect the forrests from harm? |

| I`d appreciate it if the Dept of Sparks & Wild Fires would do something about feral animals and noxious plants on their "properties" too. |

Links are hard to find since it is all hush, hush.
And technically you can enter the State Parks but not enter logging areas, but you can view from the road.
Most severe logging is from Braidwood all the way down to past Eden along the top of the Great Divide.
Any road near the top of the escarpment will have you see massive logging.
Braidwood has major logging above the Araluen Valley and further north.
Cooma-Bemboka rd, Snowy Mts Hwy has spectacular logging within 500mtrs of the hwy.
Cathcart-Wyndham Rd has new logging within the catchment area towards Cathcart.
There might be some recent links, not sure? |
