Funny how some people think only employers do an honest days work.
At least you've answered my previous question |

| On another thread we were educated by the rabid right that profit is the return for business risk. Nothing to do with a honest days work. Now for the dummies, I am not saying that a business person doesn't do an honest day's work. But that is not the basis of profit. The point simply is that a business person has no actual or conceptual monopoly on doing an honest day's work. |

That is the best statement on that subject that I have seen on these forums .
I personally will not employ any staff again as the policies which we are forced to abide by have become far too costly and a lot of what is contained in them is just drivel.
Why should every business cater for a minority which is sometimes less than 1% of society ,yet as businesses we have to spend thousands on ramps, special facilities before we can even open our doors ,with the factual result that we have never had one customer who would require these even come to us in over twenty years of trading. Before all and sundry start to cry foul I personally have a disability ,which I chose to adapt to ,NOT force anyone else to cater for,I will go out of my way to assist disabled people if asked or not. There needs to be a line drawn in the sand to put an end to the stupidity which is throughout our society which forces us to follow the rules drawn up by people who never come up against the consequenses of their rules/laws. |

The Victorian government is expected to announce on Sunday that religious groups will be allowed to discriminate against gays and single mothers in a controversial compromise reached on workers' rights.&&&&&&&&&
Fair enough!!!!!!
I also believe an employer has the right to hire and fire whoever he wants - |

As it should be. Both groups are clearly in contravention of bible teaching & employment of them would effectively condone illicit practices.

Exactly, anyone who thinks otherwise should start their own business & employ whoever they will |
