| Monsanto have pushed the Genetically modified wagon for the last 25 years. hey have pushed to get patents on as much ceral crop seed stocks so that they will own any crops that are planted. Their seed has a definate shelf life and cannot be used as a crop but cannot be used as future seed. |

These gargantuan Corporations with economies of scale greater than most countries, intend to hold the world hostage commercially by their actions of patenting that, (modified plant seed) which gives rise to the most serious concerns for freedom and competition amongst the farming sector of the globe. Already the litigation that they have been embroiled in internationally has been at huge expense, emotionally and financially to others who were not succumbing to their corporate controls and this is certainly a harbinger for Australia’s agricultural future and cause for much consternation here.

deadline for introduction of GM crops was 28th February this year......not much mention of it anywhere/ no discussions/no publicity....and it is now being grown commercially in NSW and Victoria.....despite clear evidence that GM free food is in demand throughout Europe...
the Yates corporation tried to own seeds in the 1970s and failed......persistence and money has won through for Monsanto:(
they will get their own way and with those two states, they HAVE:(
world food shortage????
more like stockpiles of crops and dumping of food that cannot get the required price!! |

It seems these corporations and gov ernments forget who holds the power.... the people now when are the people going to wake up and take their country back.
These corporations are playing with our healths to kill us slowly from all kinds of diseases. Should we sue the governments who conspire with these corporations?

I am with you I have been reading and it seems most of the baggers are probably paid to stay at home to put down and criticise those who are waking up. Sheeples LOL I love how they just follow and cant think for themselves but cry when they are disease infested with cancer or some man made virus. They also cry at interest rate rises and the banks taking their homes and petrol prices yet they shut up and put up with it lol. If they only knew that they are paying of their homes for the government to take lol and they actually are paying of nothing as the banks never really gave them any money lol. |

I do understand reidsays but man they need to stop and take a real hard look if they dont like something.
They (WE) are the only ones who have the power to change anything. What will gov ernment do turn the defence force against the people who pay their wages as they are all PUBLIC SERVANTS. how can it be a conspiracy theory when Europe has banned the use of GM crops and is only buying GM free!
Canada and America have GM crops so for Australia to adopt them too makes no economic sense at all.....for there is a demand for NON GM food....
once in the agricultural system nature spreads the crop and even in Tasmania it has already occurred where a farmer next to a Monsanto farm had his crops taken over by GM and was charged in court for having it so....DESPITE him not having anything to do with 'stealing' - rather nature spreads it!!!!
there are many facts for all to see but the media certainly doesn't highlight any of them 'very much':( |

infact they do not give the printed material that states to definitely NOT take for longer than 4-6 weeks.....if the person is buying the generic brand????
odd that the pharmaceutical companies have already been exposed as caring more about their profits than the health of the users of their products - surely relevant to GM products southern?
especially so, when the same company makes the very pesticide product that the plants are modified to deal with in excessive amounts???? |

| Monsanto are also the ones responsible for "Round-up ready Soy". This is causing many problems as the chemicals from the round-up are ending up in Soy products. A lot of these are things like baby formula! Monsanto are a very evil company! |
