Corporate petrol stations, i.e. Coles, Woolworth's, Shell ,BP, etc, etc, I have found to be very user un-friendly.
In most cases staff are impolite, rude, blunt, grumpy and generally not helpful.
But there are expectations and here is one example.
Region: Geraldton, Western Australia.
Locality: Shell Wonthella. 115-117 North West Coastal Hwy.
Friday 26/06/09. 8pm
Conditions: Wet, windy, and cold.
I had make running repairs to my truck. R.A.C. not helpful. No emergency repair in town at that time of night.
So I would have to do it my self. In the rain. It was pissin down.
Then along came Klass. This man went over and beyond the call of duty and when he could, he assisted me with repairs.
I was "gob smaked" and very grateful.
2.5 hours later, job done.
So what`s this about!
A truckie making repairs to his truck, not uncommon. But no!

This is about a total stranger and an employee of a corporate service station going out of his way to help.
Without this mans help, no doubt, I would have lost time and money.
So I want the world to know that there are still good people within the service station industry and that you, Klass, are one of them.
Lets get behind this.
Truckies and travellers alike. When going through Geraldton, call into Shell Wonthella and say G`day to Klass and shake the hand of a kind man.
Make this a consumer war cry.
When you pull into a service station, and experience rude, blunt, grumpy and generally not helpful service, ask if they are "Klass Compliant"
They wont know what you mean, so, tell them this story, then take your money elsewhere.
There may even come the day when service stations will display "Klass Compliant" service here.
Thanks Klass.
