WA could never organise it ?? , they can't even organise Daylight Savings or Weekend trading like the rest of the world already enjoys .
Better to remain in the 20th Century & let the Eastern states help the Kids out |

I love WA and its people, a short R&R spell of a few days is very enjoyable. It helps us eastern staters appreciate the good things we have and reminds us how lucky we are in the east.
WA is excellent for relaxing with a drink and watch the sunset but that is all you have.
It is not exactly the life most people are looking for.
I have said before visiting WA is like going back in time and that itself can be amusing.
WA people used to be so warm and friendly, it is a shame to see so many now with a chip on their shoulder, looking enviously at our lifestyle in the eastern states. |

You'd think if we were that envious, we'd pack up our horse and carts and move east. It's not exactly an insurmountable task to move east ya know. |

Actually it is for many WA people. Remember many WA people have never travelled outside of their own areas.
I have spoke with many WA people who want to "escape" in their words.
The distance and cost appears to many untravelled WA people to be unsurmountable.
However they should take heart and simply get on a plane, check it out and make the move.
It really is easy to escape from WA. |
