Snap Election? Who's Worth Voting For? Reply to this message
I think that the answer to that question is "None of Them".
What choice will we have?
Dumb Vs Dumber?
Noxious Vs Super-Noxious?
Incompetent Vs Incapable?
Misers Vs Misers?

Gawd !!, I shudder at the thought of an election campaign between the dregs of state politics.

Any Independent with half a brain and not funded by Reynolds and the CFMEU. Send a message vote for someone else for a change.

if Brendan Grylls-could truly say the Nationals will be an independant party-I have quite a deal of admiration for him.
Decent and a straight shooter.

Problem is the Nationals are still in bed with the Liberals. While they continue to to throw their preferences to them they wont get in!

The only good thing about the clowns is the great ammunition they give Alston in the West Australian.

i do tend to vote independent first, democrats (if they still exist) will be dead last... before them liberal and labour...

second place i have reserved for one of my friends - he is decent man and national... i do not hold much against him being national...

1 - independent
2 - national
3 - any other party not mentioned below
4 - single issue party but non-religious one...
4 - non-religious nuts parties (green, yellow, polka-dotted, save that or something different...)
5 - religious nuts parties
4 - liberals
5 - labour
6 - democrats (again, if they still exist...)

that's are my preferences...

><><
thats my problem with them at the present time-but Grylls seems to be trying to distance himself pretty well.
They made a big mistake when they tried to move from their original base and go national-then they became nothing much at all.
If I could be assured-they would keep themselves an independant party;I would be happy to give them my vote.
I am a greens voter-one of 12 at our booth!!-but know they wont make it in the Reps- but will put them first in the upper house as usual.
Just ;in our area-the Nats have a good chance of taking a seat;against the Libs or Labor.
Not keen on our sitting member anyway!

But happy to give the Nats a shot at taking more seats in the upper house ;to hold the balance;if they can remain true to what they seem to be promising lately.

No matter;it still comes down to a choice of only the two main party leaders in the Reps.
Yay-arrogance or foolishness!!Some choice!

Bring on optional preferential-and I wont have to be responsible for electing either of them!
