Ignore the south at your peril Mr Carpenter!

Suggested sites - old mud lakes adjacent to the current facility in Kwinana with a bus link from a new station at Anketel Road.

Between the existing facilities at Lark Hill and Ennis Ave/Mandurah Rd with a new special event train stop.

A semi permanent Street Circuit using the port facilities etc in Fremantle.

Why not commission KBR who run the Adelaide event or better still Hermann Tilke and try to build a permanent circuit with lighting capable of stealing the F1's off of Melbourne?

Of all things we need to clean up the police force first.

Ferris wheel is a great idea....AFTER u fix up the schools, hospitals, emergency services, transport gridlock and dead city centre. To think a ferris wheel will generate inner city life is akin to hoping a candle will act as a lighthouse.

The Ferris Wheel is not coming out of government funds.

I have already made a post about the budget and what I think of it.

If you are angry about where your money goes, most of it east, then help form a Get Stuffed Party and break away from the east and keep our money at home. We might even attract a few people of a high calibre who would be better at managing our great state than all the dipstick morons that occupy jerk-off city in West Perth now!!!!

If we can blow $1.1bn, budgeted so make it double that, on a new stupid-ball ground when the one we have is good enough then why can't we have a decent motor racing facility?

I do not necessarily agree with taxpayers funding these things but if thats the only way to get them built then so be it at least the state can lease them to, eg, the AFL and Racing Drivers Club etc when completed.

Hey saos the problem with the Health system is not due to the lack of funding but that its not reaching all the places it needs to be. Beside how much more boring would WA be if all we had was hospitals and police stations.
