An amendment made to our law in relation only to sexual abuse that may have occurred several years ago. Rape, murder, armed robbery, grievous bodily harm, any other criminal activity is not included in this:

It is important you appreciate that there is no requirement under our laws that the evidence of the complainant be corroborated or supported by other evidence. Depending on your view of the complainant, if you accept her evidence as both truthful and reliable, you are entitled to convict the accused on that evidence alone if it satisfies you beyond reasonable doubt of his guilt.

We all remember the Mickleburg brothers (served 30 years) and Andrew Mallard (served 12 years). Convicted on the evidence of police officers given under oath. Their juries were obviously satisfied beyond a reasonable doubt that those officers told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We now know they lied.
Being the crime was reputed to have happened years ago, what evidence could the accused use to prove he did not do it? Not guilty does not count. NONE! DO NOT PASS JAIL! There is no investigation of any sort in to allegations of this nature.
There are innocent men in our prisons who have been caught in this trap and as their appeal is based on their trial and there is no way that they can produce fresh evidence so they will be denied an appeal. In other words they are hogtied. The above amendment to our law contravened the Human Right to a fair trial for all these men but our law has judiciary immunity. Human Rights are wavered in our courts.
This could happen to your family it could happen to any family, if you are concerned as I am then write to:
Hon J McGinty
Attorney General
4th Floor, London House
216 St Georges Terrace
PERTH
about your concerns. Only public pressure will afford all accused persons their Human Right to a fair trial. Imprisoning innocent men does not justify catching the guilty.
This is happening in our Weste ...

If you fabricate evidence, that results in a conviction and imprisonment, then you should have to serve whatever is the same sentence the person who was convicted did.

Seem's there is nothing an accused or convicted or even someone who has entered a Plea can do against WA's corrupt police Force.
