| I'm from Mooroolbark, and it was like a low level aircraft shaking the house, but no noise, plus all the birds in the area went silent just before it hit. |

Hello, i am in Pakenham and my whole house just shook. did anybody else feel that? how far was that felt? was it just a tremor?

| We just had an earth tremor here in outer east Melbourne, Vic near Cold Stream. We felt and heard what seemed to be a very strong gust of wind, which persisted for under one minute. When we stepped outside expecting wind, dead calm instead. It was strange indeed, the whole house vibrated (even 125l fish tank responded), we are on a concrete slab here, so it was a particularly peculiar phenomenon. Anyone else experience this?...occurred only @10min ago, it's now 2108HRS Friday 06/03/09. |

| I live in Seaford. I heard banging, thought there were possums on the roof, this happened twice. The house shook, then shook again alot harder! Cant wait to find out how strong it was on the rictor scale! |
